The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dye to the torrential rain it was more difficult to move around and get the camper into position. Otherwise the campground was ok.

We stayed here twice on our round trip. Both times we had a good experience. The first time we were late arriving like a lot of other people and it was nice to find the staff was still there to help us get checked in.

Facilities was very nice, clean and well kept, staff was helpful even took you to your site and helped you back in. Difficult to recommend because trains go by all night and blow their horns so sleep is very difficult.

Very nice park! Only downside was they didn’t sell propane, no big deal I had an extra tank.

The staff was friendly and offered to use my points at check-in without my having to ask. We had problems with our site. It was very unlevel. We had to raise the right side of our trailer close to 4 inches to get it almost level...and that was after driving into the site 4 times to find the most level spot. The 30-amp outlet did not work. Luckily I carry an adapter so we used the 50-amp outlet.

good people, nice place, except the trains. all night, blowing their horns at a crossing about 1/4 mile away. I felt like I was Cousin Vinny.

Paid for a patio spot with private dog area. It was right next to the hwy and the public dog area. Very very noisy . Staff was great. place was very clean an well organized.

Prepaid 3 nights in advance; traveling in a pop-top VW camper, which is also our mode of transportation. Went into town for 5 hours and left non-essential items on site table and THEY THREW THEM OUT!! Ceramics purchase in Tulsa ($166), camping cooking equipment assembled over the years (priceless, +/- $400), folding table, collector's boy scout blanket. REPORTED TO POLICE & WILL FILE SUIT!

We came to see the destruction caused by the fires. Restrooms were always clean and the camp ground was neat and clean.

At first the staff thought I was homeless because I wasn’t going to put up a tent because of the wind. We figured if I moved into a Kabin it would work for both of us. I’m now a konfirmed kabin kamper

Great place. Level sites. Clean. Safe. Nice, nice and helpful staff. Great little store too. Loved the Mariachis who greeted us as we came in! We will be back!

We LOVE KOA’s however this one in Amarillo was not a pleasant experience. Weather was bad and it was a muddy mess. We can deal with that but not rudeness from the manager. We will not be visiting again. We do not recommend this KOA in Amarillo.

We were running late and were still greeted in person. This was 10:30pm, the latest we’ve ever arrived and was so nice to be led in the dark to our spot, and she was so pleasant even this late. Was a quick overnight stay but if we need to stay in Amarillo again, we will definitely choose this very nice, neat, and tidy kampground. Thank you so much!!!

The staff was lovely and showed me to my cabin, they were obviously very prepared for the influx of folks traveling back from the eclipse! The cabin was clean and well prepared. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. The only thing keeping me from top marks across the board is due to location you get kind of a funky smell from the oil rigs (I think that’s what it is)

I cannot say enough about the staff. When we arrived, it was very windy, pouring rain. We pulled into the check -in line and a staff member in full rain gear came out to get our information. So much appreciated!

BEST KOA EVER! And we stayed 11 days! 1)BATH HOUSE - immaculate, great water pressure, consistent water temperature & 2 bath houses to choose from. The bigger newer one is right across from the pool 2)POOL- pristine, all day sun, open B4 memorial day & was heated with a new heater (which the on site owner offered to turn up the heat at night if it wasn't warm enough, it was) and open till 10 to accommodate late check ins, multi colored lights up at night, lounge chairs and sitting chairs with a covered shelter 3)SERVICE-friendly staff and they golf cart guide to the site 4)LAUNDRY room- change machine, good washers and XL dryers 5) GIFT SHOP/sitting areas-boutique decorated with adorable western theme, seperate dining area with large screen TV and kids toys and free Starbucks keurig, seperate outdoor cute coffee area 6)PLAYGROUND- very nice, kept up and raked with a swing for the adults 7)DOG PARKS (2)- 1 gravel, 1 grass (that is watered and healthy grass) (LOTS of grass all over property for walking pups and a huge grass field with 4 cute dummy hydrants) 8)NOISE LEVEL-complaing reviews WAY exaggerated! Small airport, and you may barely here 1 plane a day, only if you are outside and the train tracks are a mile away. They have a very long privacy fence that acts as a sound barrier and keeps down dust and brush. We slept like babies!9)GROUNDS -they were always doing something, from watering the grass to cleaning the pool, raking park gravel, even saw them wiping down the picnic tables!? Go for the patio site....the extra room has spoiled us!

Nice staff, very clean bathroom. Level site, the only problem we experienced was the mower did not have a deflector on the discharge and he threw a rock at the motor home. Sounded like a bullet hit our motor home. Didn't want to go to them office and throw the mower under the bus as we still were staying another night. Other than that it was a nice stay.
