We lived this campground! We can’t wait to book another stay. We had a deluxe cabin as we wanted to bring our dog. Everyone who works there is so friendly and always smiling. The cabin beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just enough stuff for our dining ease. The campers who were staying were all very courteous and just seemed happy to be there too. We loved every minute.

The staff working there were exceptionally friendly and accommodating and though we had a few issues with our airstream they did everything to try to fix it. Special thx to Zak!!!

EVERYONE on the staff are awesome!!! We were blown away by the service!!! Definitely not what we anticipated when we made reservations. This was our first stay at KOA. Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA was above and beyond our expectations!! We highly recommend them.

We were in a basic cabin with fridge electric ceiling fan and heater. Campfire ring and picnic table with bbq charcoal grill supplied. Bathhouse was a bit of a walk. Showers were hot strong and clean. Camp store was very well stocked. Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Activities were terrific. Music was very entertaining. Kids enjoyed the bikes and train. Great home base to Explore maine!

Absolutely disgusting facility. Bathrooms were a disaster, poop on the walls of the stalls, clogged toilets, sink had facial hair on taps.Further, we the campsite is extremely loud and it is difficult to sleep properly. We tried to upgrade to cabin with a bathroom for our second night and we were denied due to the stupid 2-night rule. Will not be returning and will leave a negative google review.

A beautiful campsite right by the water. Only complaint is that the cabin we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest and found lots of possible bed bugs on our sheets. Other than that everything was great!

Deluxe cabin was immaculate and very conveniently located. The fact that you provided bed linens, towels and pillows really helped us out. Perfect distance from Acadia NP. We had two great meals around the campfire. Luxury camping--Loved it!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin for two nights. The cabin exceeded our expectations. We really liked the outside table and seating, along with the fire pit and grill. The cabin was well appointed, with a full kitchen and modern bath. It met all our needs. Though fairly close to a major road, the noise was very minimal. We only wish it were a little closer to town.

The people that work the Lobster Trap Cafe are the best! They went above and beyond everyday to make every experience there beyond amazing. Lobster guy is a keeper - best Lobster rolls on the island BY FAR! In the cabin 'village' there should be a quick bathroom to use for those middle of the night issues; it was uncomfortable to walk alone to the bathrooms. Consider even a port-a-potty.

Our stay was average. The grounds surrounding cabin five need some work. A lot of roots and tripping hazards. Also firewood always wet. Hard to keep a fire going. Was not the best experience.

Our cabin (K17) made our stay miserable. It faces into the marsh , and had a yellowjacket nest (2 of us allergic ). The group next to us was large and because of how the cabins are situated the smoke from their fire flowed directly into our cabin , making me cough all night . The bathrooms needed more attention at the KOA. We cut our stay short and had to end our trip. People.were all great

The campground was at a great location, close to the town and park. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and were available throughout the day. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

My boyfriend and I stayed at KOA/Oceanside in Bar Harbor, ME and it was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed our cabin and the convenient shuttles to downtown. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

The cabin was set far back and was a bit musty and smelled like wet dog. The bathrooms were a distance from the cabins (as are most KOA cabins) and pathway isn’t very well lit at night. The bathrooms themselves were fairly clean but the showers were very dirty, the two I used had a bad odor and one had nowhere to hang your belongings. Grounds nice, people friendly and overall we had a nice time.

The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. The air conditioner had black mold in the vents and smelled like a dead animal. This is the second year there and it was better than last year however it still could use improving for 270 a night.

Although it's advertised with WiFi, during the whole day of our stay, there was no WiFi in or near the cabin. The staff told us they were working on it, but it's not available when we left. I asked if there's any compensation for that, the owner refused flatly.

Cabine très propre. Grand lit très confortable. Patio moustiquaire fantastique. Pas d’ustensiles cependant ni évier dans la kitchenette et notre frigo n’avait pas de mini congélateur. Les lits superposés donnent sur l’espace principal kitchenette et grand lit. Petite vue sur la mer. Le lobster roll de la cantine est sublimement délicieux. Personnel sympathique et accueillant.

Absolutely amazing! The staff was outstanding! Always friendly! The cafe was a nice place to get a bite to eat--and also very friendly! We did not use the firewood or laundry services but what a wonderful service to offer! My sister and I were last at Acadia National Park 43 years ago as part of an epic 2 week trip! Thanks for making our 2023 trip another trip to remember!!

Great place to staycation when in Maine— especially visiting Acadia National Park’s best trails & community of Bar Harbor adventures, putt putt, hikes, boats, island walks, & paddle boarding and eating lobster seafood in many locations around & different places to check out but KOA also brings you the perfect sunset!

Booked this last minute and it was the highlight of the trip for our family. Wish we hadn’t wasted a night at another campground and just came here to begin with. Already planning another trip to this KOA for next Summer.

The location of this campsite is unmatched. We loved that we could catch the island explorer bus into town. The lobster trap cafe was awesome, and it was great having access to the water from the camp. We stayed in a k cabin, and it was a bit annoying that we couldn’t pull the car right up to the cabin, but the wagons were handy. Also, we did not have WiFi in our cabin.

Bar Harbor KOA Oceanside is a very special campground. We stayed in a deluxe cabin on the waters edge. The view was spectacular. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable which is so important at the end of a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sunsets over the bay are breathing. We will be back next year

We loved our cabin site. What a pleasant surprise to be housed in the trees. We also loved how close we were to any island adventures and also ones off the island. Only wish we had more time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and all our interactions with staff were great. While we love being able to rent a cabin, do wish the bathroom was a bit nicer. The toilet didn't seem to flush super well and the drain in the bathtub was a bit grungy looking. Also, would appreciate better toilet paper.

The Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA is top on our list of KOA stays so far. We loved the camper cabins, and the location was top notch. The only improvement we would suggest is to have a port-a-john closer to the camper cabins (as shown on the map that you have). The bathrooms were very far away from our cabins!

KOA Bar Harbor Oceanside earns their 5 stars! The staff are courteous and friendly. The sites are all roomy. Ours was at the oceans edge and was beautiful! Many water side RV sites plus tent sites and nice cozy cabins. I highly recommend this KOA!
