The campgrounds and facilities are clean and well maintained, staff very friendly and helpful! The only problem was the amount of black flies and hornets/wasps, the owners really need to get pest control in there to eliminate the problem!

Cabin was dirty. Bathhouse was dirty. We slept in the car because cabin was not very clean. We read a lot of good reviews so we're very disappointed.

We were met with friendly smiling faces! The part that most impressed us was their cafe! We had driven 9 hours and really didn’t want to grill our chicken and figured they would be close…image our surprise when they had no problem making us food. We ordered Philly cheese steak and salads but most impressive was the GF pizza, how kind of them to offered a GF option! Food was hot and fresh!

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They had good food and were kind enough to deliver it right to my cabin. The cabin was clean and so darling! The bathrooms were also very clean. I loved the night lights on the outside of the cabin porch doorways to help me get back in the dark. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I would love to bring my friends up with me next time.

Great stay in Patio site at top of hill on end. Very starry night with great views. Very fast checkin and everyone was very helpful. Tried to order pizza for dinner but after calling for 30 mins, gave up and made dinner.

Nice pull thru site, my wife commented that it would be too much to hope for a level site, but it was, no leveling required! We didn't use the facilities so I can't rate them. However the camp host was very helpful and nice. This was a great overnight stay that was unexpected when we found it. They also have a kitchen with delivery which was fantastic after a long day on the road.

The park is ok, but the road in has horrible speed bumps and pot holes. I understand a speed limit within the park but not on the road in. 5mph is ridiculous. You can usually tell a franchise park by their attitude. We have stayed at quite a few.

Great location to Badlands National Park. I called in last minute to book a cabin for a night. It was extremely easy to book a cabin. Cabin (#5) was clean but No heat. Window Unit on the wall is noisy, hence I did not use it. Shared restroom/bathroom show sign of wear and tear, clearly neglected and not very clean. Tv in cabin has no CNN channel, but has Fox News which do not watch.

Easy access on/off of I 90. Quiet! The campsites back up on a wetland area. Lots of migratory birds there. Heard coyotes howling during the night. Large laundromat clean shower house.

The campground was clean and inviting. It was quiet and the perfect place to stay with kids and dogs. The owners/ staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We forgot our dog's food and one of the staff gave us some of her own dog's food. Also, the pizza was delicious.

One night on Sept 14th. Site was long enough that we did not have to disconnect from our 38 ft 5th wheel. Very quite park & nicely maintained. The gentleman in the office and the gentleman that escorted us to our site were very friendly and pleasant. I was very impressed with their laundry facilities. 6 washing machines and many large dryers. Very pleasant stay.

We really liked the people,they go out of their way to please you. Nice grill for food and they deliver to your rv! Grounds were dead grass, maybe it’s the time of year. Lots of thorn stickers in grassy areas and a lot of flies.

Great place to stop on my trip around South Dakota. Campground was well maintained. Staff was so helpful- I’m new to the rv life. They helped me to my spot. Delivered hot Mac n cheese to my site from their cafe. Laundry facilities, store, and pup play park were all clean and easy to navigate. Thank you!

WE were there for only one night. Staff was pleasant and helpful. We ordered a pizza from them, and it was delivered to are camper. We would stay again on our travels west.

Hosts at the KOA are the greatest I have ever seen and the staff is more than helpful. They have well stocked camp store and good selection RV items. We stay here in a Fifth Wheel for four weeks and enjoy our stay.

Pleasantly surprised by how nice the park was, travelling with two big dogs we really appreciated the 2 different dog parks. We also ordered food from their diner, we had a salad and pizza, the pizza was very good. I would recommend this site to other travelers.

Great place to stay. Large, quiet, 2 K9 Kamps and plenty of room to walk your pet. Hosts are friendly. Store well stocked and has a small snack bar for freshly made food. Good WiFi and cable too.

Very accommodating at both koa's, since we were just staying overnight and moving on we didn't take part in any of the activities but the KOA here at devil's Tower had many things to participate in if we so desired.

We had a nice overnight stay. Helpful, friendly staff. They have a menu with quite a few choices. We ordered several items that were delivered to our site. This was our second time staying here, so we looked forward to the baked spaghetti, and brats that we enjoyed before. Showers were clean with hot water. The RV Park is near 1880 Town. We had toured that before & found it educational.

First of all, this was an unexpected pleasure. We stopped here because it was convenient on our way to Sioux Falls, didn't want to drive in the dark. So, pulling up and finding the most charming and well manicured little grounds was a pleasure. We found a space on the after hours board, got parked, and then the owner Robert came to greet us. I can honestly say this is the best customer service I have received in my camping travels. He took care of us for snacks and food and amenities, even after hours. I am beyond impressed. You should absolutely consider this for your stay, there's a beautiful charming little lake with a dog park and a hell of a sunset. 10 out of 10, strongly recommend.

We needed a place to stay at the last minute in a downpour for one night and needed a full hook up on our way to Custer State Park, South Dakota. Called and spoke with Lisa who got us a site “high and dry” as it was horrible, muddy, and continued to rain all night. When we arrived, we were greeted with a great smile and a friendly face. They were just getting set up for the season and had an array of cool items in the store - both camping and also clothing and general store items. Their Menu was quite extensive for a Camp store and could deliver right to your door if needed. Bathrooms were clean/ laundry facilities available. I highly recommend this Campground for their smooth check-in, easy access and friendly, warm greeting!! Keep Smiling!!

Of the five or so KOA's along western South Dakota along I-90 this is your best choice especially if you are car/tent camping. Many of the campgrounds along I- 90 here are not much more than parking lots for RV's. We found this KOA superior in many ways. This WAS supposed to be our stop for the gateway to the Black Hills. Unfortunately, we ran out of daylight a 100 miles eastward. So we visited in the early morning before anyone was awake. It was mostly empty as we were in the very early part of the season but it was evident we had missed out on a great campground. We visited May 2023.
