My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we especially appreciated their attention to cleanliness in the showers and restrooms and their friendly hardworking staff. This location has so many activities on site and in the area making it perfect family vacation spot.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Campground is very clean with lots to do. Close to local beaches. We were very impressed and had a great time.

My dog and I stay at one of the tent sites and had a wonderful time. The amenities were great and the bathrooms/ showers were very well maintained. My only suggestion would be to not have the tent sites so close to each other that it feels like we are on top of each other.

We really enjoy staying at the KOA. The facility is clean, the staff is so friendly, and the kids really enjoy all of the activities. This was our 3rd stay, and brought another family who loved it as well. See you next year!

The kids had an absolute blast! The restrooms and showers were clean. The staff was super friendly. Our kids had never been camping before but loved it and wanted to stay longer. Our 8yr old daughter was catching little blue gills like crazy and our 6 yr old son loved catching turtles, frogs, and even snakes!

We stayed for 2 nights on the 20 amp site with our pop up camper. Delivery of food, firewood and anything else we needed as well as trash pick up was amazing to have available. We got the breakfast sandwiches both mornings as they were reasonably priced and saved us so much time. Lots to do with our 4 year old on site, fun activities the weekend we stayed and 15 minutes from Silver Beach!

To me camping is about dark quiet times around the campfire. There was a large group next to us and though they were fairly quiet, they had an extremely bright lighting setup. It was way too much and should not be allowed. Other than that it's a nice campground.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We genuinely like your kind of camping experience as well. However, we find there is a lot of variety in how people like to camp, especially with the increased popularity of camping since 2020. In any event, if it was causing a disturbance, that we do not tolerate. Just let us know next time.

I was able to heal my daily fatigue at a wonderful campsite surrounded by greenery. The facility was clean and I had a very comfortable stay.

Great time, a lot of improvements since I last stayed in 2016-17. Biggest thing is for all dog owners to leash your dogs. Your RV is not your home, backyard where it is parked. You are staying at a great KOA, and let's keep it safe, and inviting for all! I will be back for sure, the owners are doing a great all around job with the great staff they have on this great quiet nature filled property!

Welcome back! We have indeed been hard at work over the past six years. Most guests who visited our prior to 2016, describe it today as "unrecognizable." In addition to our facilities, we also take great care to deliver exceptional guest service!

The in person reservation was very helpful and polite. Our Boy Scout Troop found a great secluded campsite awaiting . It was large, clean, great fire pit, water was close. Beautiful trails. Very polite staff. Excellent!!!!

The stay was great bathrooms were clean only thing I would recommend is more space between campsites. Everything else was great and friendly staff. I will definitely be back.

We have stayed at many campgrounds and many KOAs across the nation. St. Joseph KOA definitely ranks at the top! The staff was incredible. The amenities were abundant. They had so many activities for the kids. Our kids had the "best weekend ever". The grounds were impeccably clean and well-maintained. The property was gorgeous. It felt like we were staying at a resort.

Beautiful location, very friendly and convenient services provided, overall wonderful stay for my family. The only thing I would recommend for this KOA to improve upon is the lack of grass at tent sites. I’m sure it’s difficult to maintain with campers coming and going but our site was mostly dirt and sand.

Our soil is mostly sand as is the case for practically all of southwest Michigan this close Lake Michigan. We always have grass throughout our park in the spring and early summer, but by late summer after literally thousands of guests have come before you, the grass has taken a beating.

we stayed at this campground 8/28-9-1. campground is very nice, nice amenities pool is awesome. nice general store. However, we ( my wife and I) found the staff to be quite unfriendly. did they do their job.. yes i am mostly referring to the ' workcampers" we have come to expect staff that are "people first". we found your "workcamper row" of big rigs to be very standoffish.so sad

We have high standards of guest service and have in the past helped some staff be successful somewhere else when they did not meet those standards. This year we have a great team, as most guests have said. After speaking with them, any feelings that they were standoffish was purely unintentional.

Nice, but… odd small patios on the premium lots. Have spent time in Nashville and Indianapolis recently. They both brought the “A” game.

So far we've tried the glamping tent and the cabin both experiences were amazing! Super clean cozy places to stay. Bathrooms close to sites and well maintained. This place is magical so much for kids and families to do on property jumping pillow, mini golf, fishing, hiking, swimming, pickleball, and checkers. Feels safe to allow kids to just be kids and explore. The staff here is what really puts the icing on the cake. Every single individual working here is such a joy, so king and helpful. This is by far the best camp ground I have ever been to! Hope to make many more memories here for years to come! Truly felt like a vacation!!

Right off US 31 and very easy to navigate to the campground. My husband and I have been to several KOA's and found this a wonderful place to stay. I will be honest when I seen such a high rating, I thought it could not be true. It was! Very clean and all the staff were so nice. I watched as a camper pulled out and had some issues with his electric and an employee came and fixed right then and there. The owner stopped and asked how our stay was, very friendly and chatted with us for a few minutes. We noticed that several sites are being updated. I will not hesitate to stay again.
