It was a very clean KOA with a very personable yet professional staff. There were plenty of things to do for all ages. The location was excellent, as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and look forward to my return!

We had a small rally group stay for a week. We very much appreciated the weekly rate. Tammy H. and Marc H. did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome and even tailoring some events around our preferences. Becky was always there hosting events with a great smile ensuring everyone had a great time. Between all the games, movies, happy hours and lazy river time G.I. KOA kept us busy all week!

Our only issue was the wifi. It would not stay connected to our phones. We were attaching to the one we were told to use when we checked in, but it would disconnect 6 or 8 times every day. Very frustrating! Other than that - great time was had by all!

Wonderful place to stay and helpful, friendly staff. We loved our time there. Suggestions for our cabin - bedroom mattress caving in in the middle. Bedroom door and handle need to be oiled - very squeaky. Towel hooks on back of bathroom door would be really helpful.

Great campground, concrete pads, grounds are well kept. Staff is very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Lots of activities each week, for adults and children. Daily texts let you know what's going on with activities.

Beautiful RV park with lots of room between sites. Nice pool, lazy river, and hot tub. Dog park is a little small and doesn't have water available to drink. I wish it was closer to downtown, but RV sites closer are more expensive and less space. Just be prepared to drive 20-30 minutes to get to tourist sites.

The beach house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Liked the proximity to the beach. Could’ve used a bit more comfortable furniture and better TV service. Liked the recreation area with frozen cocktails!! Nice outdoor sitting area.

The people are friendly & accommodating. Downside: does not offer any meal options. Suggested to housekeeping a possible solution to the huge buildup of water in the dressing area just outside each shower could be place a sign in each shower stating “please be courteous to other campers and towel dry inside the shower” to encourage the guests to help with that. Also grounds needs more shade tr

Very nice park. Extremely clean, very quiet, many amenities that all function and are always available. I highly recommend this KOA and look forward to staying here again.

This was my second time staying but first time as a booking guest. The experience was amazing! The customer service is exceptional and efficient. I received notifications before, during and after my stay. I had to change arrival time last minute and they quickly offered an alternative check in. I am so please and am planning my next stay soon!

Great place to stay in Galveston with nearby beach access. Only things left wanting were grilling facilities as most of the grills were clapped out from the sea being so nearby and exposure to constant wind off the beach. The bathrooms are all elevated so if you have mobility issues, this may be daunting although there is a long ramp to access. The last thing was that there is no sidewalk access to the beach. Plan on walking alongside of the busy highway on the grass because not much of a shoulder and cars are going through pretty quickly. Outside those things the grounds were really nice and well kept, the staff were very affable and helpful, the pool area and lazy rivers were nice although we didn't use them as the weather was a bit rainy on and off. When our plans fell through at the state park, the KOA was a good alternate and would definitely recommend. Will likely come back at some point. Friendly people and friendly neighbors.
