We like this campsite. It's a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This campsite is nice and quiet. Very peaceful. We would definitely come back. Virginia is a beautiful State. There seems to be a lot to do around harrisonburg.

Nice campground, layout is a little squirly hard to tell the roads from the campsites. But nice sites scattered among trees. We had very low water pressure up on top of the hill. Clean well maintained with new gravel where needed. Nice place with plenty to do for a family.

The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, & expedient about handling matters. We extended our stay because we were so pleased with our experience. I did disagree with them on the Fried pie favorites, mine favorite was lemon! Keep on doing what you’re doing. Thanks for a great stay.

You've got room to breath here with nice space between the sites and I love the fact that when you roll up to check in they hand you a menu in case you don't want to cook! Definitely will return!

I have a team that travels in Motorsports industry we have 3 large 5 th wheels and stay at Koas every night.and this one is a awesome place.

I loved the layout of the campground. With the sites staggered you weren’t looking at your neighbors. Bathrooms were very clean as well as the laundry room. Never had to wait for a machine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great with easy off and on the interstate but far enough away that you did not hear any traffic noise.

The staff is very friendly and helpful! The sites are spacious and the rock lined fire pits make them unique. The campground is a good way from the highway. We enjoyed the quiet countryside. We had their pizzas for dinner. They were delicious!

Only one bathroom. The morning we were leaving the one bathroom had an excavator operating directly in front of it with a big hole there (to install concrete there). The only notice was on their web site THAT MORNING. Forget about going to the bathroom or washing up after hooking up our travel trailer before leaving. And just one bathroom for entire (Holiday KOA) campground! Only 10 Ch left....

Everyone was outstanding and very helpful. Brittany was so friendly and helpful. We are First time RV campers and they were helpful in getting us setup and following up with us afterwards. Can't wait to come back!

Out of the way spot with good signage, average tight spots for RVs, luckily we only had another travel trailer on one side. Wooded site. Ice cream to buy in the office. Quiet. Thank you.

Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA is set in a beautiful location. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again.

The park is so pretty. So many improvements have been made in clouding site levelling. Other additions continue to be made. The staff are friendly and made us feel so welcome. Thank you!

Beautiful location, nestled between trees. Owners take great pride as we saw them out painting, planing flowers, and the grounds are well preserved. The sites are spacious and due to trees and large natural rocks, they are not close to each other. Bathrooms and showers are immaculate. Just a few miles off the highway made it very convenient.

This place renewed my interest in camp grounds. It was probably the Breakfast Pizza with sausage gravy. The staff made you feel like old friends when you walked in. Office/General store has anything you forgot to bring.

This is our third stay at this KOA. It's peaceful, quiet, family oriented, well managed and clean. Children seem to have a great time. Manager, Delaine does her job well. The staff is friendly, approachable, respectful and hard working. They work to help you solve any problem (if possible), or take care of any reasonable need - if you ask. You can reach a real human being on the phone to help you make the best choices when reserving online if you have particular needs. Again, within reason. Excellent handling of emergencies - there was a severe storm coming and staff quickly rode to sites to warn campers and give instructions. When a power line was knocked out, informative texts were sent to communicate with campers. Every effort was made to accommodate campers without power. Rules are reasonable and enforced with kindness and respect. We were visiting our neighbors around a campfire past quiet hour and a very nice young man came to let us know we needed to be mindful of other campers. Oops. Absolutely! Another thing: We tend to arrive earlier than the check in time. I called ahead of time about this and asked. Could we check in earlier or park somewhere and bide our time. I was told we can check in earlier, if the campsite was empty and cleaned up, but there would be a fee. We are willing to pay this fee and to abide by the rules and here's why: Two camp workers were interrupted from their usual tasks to accommodate our request. These workers are very busy. No well managed campground could accommodate people coming and going willy-nilly and do their regular chores.
