Beauty surrounds us at the Homer Baycrest KOA

Beauty surrounds us at the Homer Baycrest KOA

Whether in the RV or sitting at the campfire, the views from the campground are inspiring.  Each place in the park gives a different look to the Alaskan outdoors.

We overlook beautiful Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet and can watch the many types of boats and planes going by.  The 3 active volcanoes are majestic, and we can see them from different places of the park.  The wildlife, from eagles to an occasional moose, bear, and rabbits, to pods of whales feeding below, is amazing.  The weather systems collide in front of the park and the ocean shows its beauty in connection.

No matter what time of year, I am never used to the beauty of creation, and to sit and enjoy it brings peace.
