All the people running the campground were super nice and very friendly, even helped me get backed into my site upon arrival. I liked the text messages checking on my arrival status and letting me know what was going on in the campground during my stay. Sites are very tight up top, I would try and get down by the river as there is more room down there

We needed wifi service and chose this campground in order to have service and we stayed in a premium site near the main office in order to have good Wi-Fi service. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi service was dismal and we either couldn’t connect or when we did, we couldn’t hold the connection. The download speeds were pitiful. If you need dependable Wi-Fi service, do not stay at this campground.

Great scenery and friendly attendants. The sites felt more like rustic cMping than being in a campground. The river was great and if it were summer would have been a great place to jump in.

Lovely campground! Workers were always available if you had questions or needed help. Very nice clean bathrooms and a gorgeous view of the river! Would love to come back again!

I love much about this campground: beautiful setting, wonderful staff, etc. The only thing I don't like - and I hate this - is your pricing. I feel that you are way out of line with other KOA's I use. I also despise the fact that you raise rates on special event weekends. This seems very greedy to me. I've come here for 15-20 years, but I have seriously considered going elsewhere over this issue.

Wifi needs some help and cable is awful. We had to hotspot to watch tv. This seems to be an issue with all KOA’s.

Very picturesque location with creek and mountains and wonderful trees. It is a smaller campground and the staff were so helpful prior to our visit. They did everything possible to make our stay comfortable.

Campground was nice, but sites are a bit close. Staff was outstanding and professional. Love the adherence to the dress code! Store is awesome, bought some nice things. Nolichuckey river is beautiful and runs through the park. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location and great staff, but campground owner is price gouging. Price doubled from last year, We just got back from Yellowstone and KOAs were cheaper than than this location and it’s not a Yellowstone location.

We just love Jonesborough KOA!!! Of the many campgrounds we have stayed, Jonesborough KOA is our favorite!!! The staff are very friendly and are always willing to lend a helping hand. They make check-in very simple. We are always greeted with smiles and an escort to our site. The river that runs by the campground is so beautiful and peaceful. The campground is very clean with many amenities.

I honestly can't say enough about this campground! Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and respectful. Gorgeous campground right on the Nolichucky River with direct and easy river access. Tons of amenities are offered at this location, including pizza delivery to your site, text updates during your stay, and a gift shop. Great location to surrounding areas all within reasonable driving distances, but honestly you won't want to leave! This campground is impeccably clean, staff are always easy to find, and bathhouses are spotless! ***Exceptional Customer Service - We booked a private site on HipCamp months ago to celebrate my birthday and Memorial Day Weekend, only after confirming with owner the details of our rig and that we would be able to access the site. After a 3 hour drive, upon arrival we could not get our 40ft fifth wheel into the site without permanent damage to our camper and tailgate. I reached out to this campground in hopes they could take us, at least for a night until we could make other plans. We passed this KOA on our way in less than a mile from where we supposed to stay. Ronda said come on for the night and that will give you time to figure something out for the weekend. I booked the one night and got settled in the site she had available. Within 1 hour Ronda came to our site to tell us not only did she get us in a spot for the night, she got us a spot there for the entire duration of our original trip. This woman went above and beyond and made our trip possible, and we had the most peaceful and relaxing weekend. Ronda, you and your staff are top notch, thank you so very much for a wonderful stay at a gorgeous location. You are appreciated more than you know!

This is a great off the beaten path RV park, very impressive and beautiful scenery, nicely positioned spaces and beautiful views of the river! The staff is very helpful and friendly, the store is nicely laid out with a reasonable amount of gifts and needs! I will definitely stay here again, and probably much longer next time to enjoy all the park and area have to offer! Thanks to the staff and ownership for making this a great place to stay!

Right on the Nolichucky River! Kind, compassionate, and friendly management! Loved the sounds of the river. Such a beautiful spot! I stayed in my RV, but there were very cute cabins on site as well. The facilities were super clean! Pizza and firewood available on site. Great for a mountain getaway in Jonesborough, or an easy drive to Johnson City, Bristol, Asheville, Cherokee, etc.
