Quiet place for a stop over. Literally nothing to do but that was okay. Met several other campers that were repeats here either coming or going to Cody. Nice spot to unwind after a long day on the road.

Quiet, with easy access to highway. We used this as a place to stay to get to Mt. Rushmore area. Well kept CG and friendly staff. Bath/shower houses were clean and quite nice.

Nice location and setting. Small park with grass, trees and nice sites. Very friendly family runs the park.

Our site had unpacked heavy gravel. Was hard to get auto level to set due to shifting rock base.

It needs a lot of work. It’s got the basics, but that’s it. My wife did not feel comfortable using the showers after dusk.

Nice level shaded site, very clean and quiet. Perfect for an overnight stay when traveling thru SD on I-90. Only 30 minutes from “Dignity” statue and water fun on the Missouri River.

Thank you, was a relieaf from the storm. So sorry that a lot of your sites were flooded. You did a great job to help spread campers around to avoid the flooded sites. Not your fault just mother nature. Take care, we have always enjoyed your kindness over the years that we have stayed there. Hope some day you can get things back to where they were before the 2018 flood. God Bless.

We had a wonderful stay here! We got in very late (forgot to budget the time change when coming from The Badlands), but it was very easy to find our envelope with our site number and map! The showers here were awesome and everything was very clean and easy to find! Will definitely stay at another KOA campground in the future!

We also.ost had the place to ourselves, so maybe it's a location thing. Staff was friendly and the place was clean except for the pool.

Stopping at a KOA isn’t always about “all the frills”. Sometimes the quiet stopovers can be some of the best! That’s Kennebec! QUIET place, with friendly people. Left Palmers Gulch; lunch, etc at Wall Drug. Then stopped for the night here. Very glad we did. Easy off I-90. Perfect distance out & just into Central zone. I’d recommend this KOA. Clean & neat. Great hosts!

Kennebec KOA was an easy on/off from Rte. 90 and has everything you need for a convenient overnight in the middle of nowhere. However, the rating I gave reflects the booking process, not the actual stay. When I went online it told me there was only one site left. In reality, there were less than 10 of us in the campground for that night. A number of campsites were under repair but no sellout.

We only stayed one night, but it was very enjoyable. Nice spot, clean bathrooms and showers. Nice hosts, would stay again.

Nice campground for an overnight stay. The Staff is working to improve the grounds, so I will recommend them and stay there again myself if the in the area again.

Basic campground but everything you need for a convenient overnight while traveling the I-90. The owners thoughtfully turned on the A/C in advance.

Staff is very friendly, but it had rained and there was a lot of standing water ( some spots flooded) and therefore a lot of mosquitoes.

It was a very quiet campground. Bathrooms were clean and pool was large and very refreshing. It was just a very simple campground which is what we appreciate when we stop.

We were only there for a short, one-night sleep as we travelled through. It was clean and quiet and was all we needed for the night. A wonderful stay. The truck exhaust breaks as they came into town were loud. I’m surprised they allow that in city limits.

We stayed the 1 night only. The park is very nice with lots of shaded sites. Our site was level without any additional leveling blocks needed. The park is well maintained. Staff friendly. This park is on my list of places to stay. Wifi was weak.

Nice roomy sites, all though a little maintenance would stop lakes from developing under campers in a rain storm.

Very friendly owners. Had one issue with site and they corrected it immediately. Grounds are clean and well maintained.

Always a pleasant experience! We are treated like good neighbors. The campsite is well-run. We plan to continue to stay at the Kennebec KOA when we travel through South Dakota and we will recommend it to others. Keep up the good work!

Well maintained campground. Friendly, helpful hosts. Kind of sleeper, probably due to location in a smaller community. Worth considering as it's off the beaten trail and very accommodating to big rigs, small & tent campers.

Our first time camping there the sites were level and spacious just off the interstate if you ride motorcycle is is a good place to stay a small downtown with a few restaurants or if you feel like checking out surrounding areas your not to far
