Unlike some KOA campgrounds all sites were level, bathhouse very clean and nice. Walking distance to restaurants. Super nice hosts.

A great check in and an escort to our site. The site was nice and we enjoyed our one night stay. We didn't have to unhook. This KOA was clean and well maintained.

Wonderful overnite stop! this KOA is REALLY well-kept. Matt and Kristy (owners) are definitely dedicated to keeping their park (and home) top-notch. Level gravel pads with plenty of room. Bathrooms and showers and other facilities were very clean. Close to Wal-Mart, truck stops, and restaurants. Off the highway far enough that noise was minimal. Would definitely stay again.

What a great stopping off place for anyone headed east or west on I-80. Easy off and on, easy access to the park, easy access getting in and out of your site! The place is clean and well kept and the staff there is as good as it gets! Be sure and take their recommendation for dinner at Margarita's ... it was excellent! Thanks guys for a job very well done!!!

Nice place friendly staff only thing I was not a fan of was nothing but gravel in spaces and RR ties that separate the sites have oils seeping out and gets on everything. We will stay again if in the area

Park is so clean and well cared for. Spaces are large and easy to park. There is lovely landscaping around several of the sites, and some have their own private puppy kennel. The off leash dog park is clean and well supplied with shade and pick up bags. We have always found this a quiet clean park to stay with friendly staff and great amenities!

Google maps view of the campground does not do it justice. We had a patio site and it was great. The owners went to great lengths in landscaping those sites. The site had high end patio furniture, a nice grill and deep fire pit. It was also big enough to get all 70’ of our parked with no problem. The Wi-Fi was the fastest we have experienced at any KOA. Solo tent camper, one night stay. They have great amenities, including even pizza delivered to your campsite. What impressed me most, though, was the attention to camper's welfare. There was a tornado alert during my night there, and the staff was ever present and ever helpful in making sure every camper was informed and cared for. I would stay there again, for sure.

This KOA was clean, well organized, the staff are friendly and helpful, the campground was clean and the only noise was the non stop traffic on I-80 which is VERY close.

The staff was excellent and the grounds very clean. This is the cleanest and nicest KOA Journey that we have stayed at. We travel often and stay at KOA campground. This campground should be the standard.

Ok, I’m one of those that use to stay, shall we say to the west a little bit?!? Now that we have stayed with you, we feel safer, we use the AC, and we have had our eyes open to all the pluses KOA can do! We’ll be back!

The campground are very clean. They are not jammed close to your neighbors. Close to cute little town of Ogallala. Recommend seeing the Petrified Wood Gallery and the Mansion on the Hill. The staff are very friendly.

Clean as home, not a blade of grass out of place. Everyone was helpful and polite. If I go their way again I will make a point of staying there.

sites are very level and nice. The tent pads were all Lucious grass (no dogs allowed). It is a smaller KOA but very well maintained. Restroom facilities were not used. I would definitely stay again, very convenient to exit I80 and fill up with gas and groceries at nearby Walmart, then pop in for a comfortable stay.

Easy in/out and convenient to I-80 Fuel/groceries close by Staff put us in a larger drive thru due to MY mistake on length of rv this site had nice sitting area with table, chairs, gas grill. Highway noise may bother some folks but we like to sleep with a fan which cancelled out most of that

Loudest campsite I have ever stayed at. Unable to get any sleep at all.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are Ogallala I80 KOA located right along the busy I80 Interstate. If noise bothers you please call Tri Trails KOA they are also located in Ogallala and are off the interstate. If you choose to stay at I80 KOA you will have interstate noise.

Driving through from Gulf Shores, AL to WY. Friendly staff. Easy access to I-80. Several restaurants and fuel stops nearby. The office is open till 7pm mountain. (The manager remained on site helping late arrivals till after 8:30 last night) much appreciated. Driving surface is gravel. Lots are level. Restrooms: 👍 Floors are very clean; everything in the restroom is clean. Pets welcome. Dog walk. We will be back. Update: May 11 2024 - Repeat Customer. We are traveling again on our way to WY. In my previous review, I said we would plan to spend the night here again. We are camping at I-80 KOA again. Everything is just as nice and clean as ever.
