The ONLY thing I wish was different is if there was another pet enclosure area or two. We tried twice to take our pets there but it was full every time. But the campground is beautiful. We really liked the store and Angela was awesome. We'll certainly stay here again. Michael Dorr

Extremely Noisy!!!!! No policing of the area. People play basketball after quiet hours and as late as 2 am and they do anything about it. They play music at the bathrooms 24/7 and don’t shut it off during quiwt hours. Why are people able to turn in bright lights to basketball courts after quiet hours. Stayed three nights and inly saw security come by one night.

Nice inner-city campground. Huge place! Nice pool facilities and dog area complete with a dog wash!

The good: The property itself is lovely and the staff are nice Great games area with cornhole, connect 4, ping pong and a basketball court with all the equipment. Grassy tent sites. The bad:The area! It’s right in the middle of a homeless area with so many addicts wandering around. No way of walking anywhere outside of the KOA or stopping at any nearby stores. Thankfully they have a night watchm

The campground layout is great and the restrooms and showers are clean. Even though it is not a gated community, I felt safe due to the staff’s presence and maintenance. The laundry room was clean and well maintained. The trees are beautiful and well kept. Manager and staff was always friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for making our work stay a bit easier.

We stayed 2 nights. The koa was clean, quiet and we really liked our site with grass and trees. Office staff were very nice and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again

Small sites. Good facilities. Very nice for city centre campground. BTW the roads and highway in Salt Lake are terrible compared to the rest of Utah so expect your unit to bounce around until you get through the campground entrance.

They had coffee and pancakes for breakfast at 8:00 am . Showers had hot water. Located in the midst of Salt Lake City. Not an easy city to navigate. There was a nice pool and hot tub. The Great Salt Lake was only about 15-17 minutes.

We were not told before we arrived that ridiculously loud music would be played at the fairgrounds next door from 8:00am to 11:00pm!! We understand it’s beyond your control but it’s an expensive KOA stay and it wasn’t a secret it was going to happen. They told us “it happens every year!”.

The SLC KOA campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly. However the location of the KOA itself is the problem. The KOA is located right next to the fairgrounds, EXTREMELY LOUD music played from Thursday-Sunday. The homeless population was awful. At one point some campers ran a homeless out, but the KOA employee gave him his backpack, probably stolen goods inside. We won’t return

This facility is nothing like the other facilities we've stayed in. The S.L.C. facility is closer to a trailer park than a RV park. They could take lessons from the San Diego Metro Holiday. The differences are night & day. The S.L.C. Holiday is by far the worst KOA we've stayed in and has gone down hill in the last year.We will never stay there again. Michael Humphreys 2087039415

Stayed for the weekend to attend the Kilby Music Festival. Everything was well taken care of, and the grounds were great.

The bathrooms in the back need an exhaust fan. After people shower in the evenings it was like a sauna. Made it rather gross. Fix the bathrooms and it's 5 stars. Good job keeping everything else clean.

Check in process is efficient, park and facilities are clean and relatively quiet (barking dogs and some nearby construction). There is a homeless encampment / hang out not far from the entrance, but we never felt unsafe.

This is why we rated this KOA poor Security was bad a homeless man was going thru camp site trying to get into trailers and checking out sites and one of the KOA workers on a golf cart just escorted him off site not even calling police or checking his bag. We would not come back because of poor security and not feeling safe. This facility should be gated because of location.

Despite it being "in the city," this KOA is well-maintained. Folks who stay there seem to care about their site(s) and keep their area clean. I continue to remain CONCERNED about the lack of attention to the speed limit in the park--especially those who come through the part but are in the other section that has more permanent units--they are the greatest violators. More speed bumps?

The staff and the amenities at this KOA are great! Lots of kids activities available. It is also conveniently located right by one of the TRAX stations. However our reason for not recommending is mainly the location of this resort. It's right by the train tracks, and the trains kept us and our baby up through the night. Also it is in the heart of the city and homeless people easily entered.

The facility was in decent shape. We had crazy noisy neighbors that basically started a party at 1:00am, night staff didn't help shut that down or didn't care at all. There is also a stadium on the same block so if you are wanting a quite night make sure there aren't any events going on. Staff at check in were super nice and helpful. All in all OK experience but could have been a lot better.

The block party was too loud and ruined our stay. We tried to go to bed early but due to the overly loud music blasting until 11pm no one could sleep. Since the neighboring rv/trailer park is attached to the KOA you had control of the volume of music and did nothing about it.

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and nice community feel. Location was nice and close to lots of things but didn’t seem like the best part of town. The State fair park was super close so maybe I’m wrong but went to a restaurant right down the road and didn’t feel super safe and someone told us it wasn’t a good idea to walk down the street. The actual KOA feels very safe though.

The camp was very unkept. Recreation area a mess. Our site for the RV had not been cleaned or swept. Someone’s old welcome mat was still on the site. There was a concert in the fairgrounds next door. We were not told about it when we checked in. The music was so loud, we couldn’t be outside and it was still too loud inside with all windows shut. Music continued until 1018 pm. Never stay there

One of the best KOA we've ever stayed in. The entire park is clean, well-maintained grass areas as well as road. Each RV site is well maintained. Staffs are extremely friendly, informative, & helpful. Location is perfect for sightseeing too. Transportation is right outside. We will be returning for longer stay. Best part is the long term housing behind the park is also very well maintained

First I'd like to say that you may be a little put off by the surrounding area leading up to this KOA. It is heavily populated with housing challenged people. That said, the staff were very nice and welcoming. Concrete site was level and had a nice picnic table and fire pit. However, not all sites have a fire pit so be sure to ask for one if you want it. It's a large campground, so many site options. Also, some sites share hookups so your doors will face each other. Check out the website map to choose a site. Pool was nice, and laundry facility was clean and inexpensive. I like that they have a recycling dumpster. They do not pick up trash at your site. All in all, a necklace to stay.

We stayed for two nights at the KOA in Salt Lake City and loved everything about our experience. The check in was swift, the grounds are very well maintained, the pool was great, the sites are beautifully level, and we especially loved the shade trees throughout the park. The temperature was up there so having the beautiful trees shading our rig was so appreciated. The location is just a short Uber ride to downtown. The only thing was we were warned that being in the city we had to lock our things up but that did not pose any issues and we felt very safe. Definitely recommended!!
