Campground Reviews

Web site states wi-fi, upon payment staff states “its spotty”, simple fact was its non existent ! Nor was any cell phone service. Both are just a simple investment of funds.

Our stay was very enjoyable. And the staff was excellent.

Sorry someone was in our spot, but we adjusted. Backing the RV in between trees was nerve wracking. We met awesome people who were eager to help! Great first RV experience. Thanks everyone!

Fabulous camp site, full RV hookup shaded by huge oak trees. Disappointed that I had to walk to the lake. Why call it Vail lake if you can’t enjoy it!

Still a great location and the trails are amazing. I think you guys really need to replace the old aging bathrooms in the campsites before going to hog wild with all the new stuff. Rincon doesn't even have a bathroom. The one in the Oaks is really struggling and gross.

we arrived to find campers playing beer pong at our campsite. The music was loud and obnoxious and the campers around us were drunk and walking in and out of our campsite. we did not even back our trailer up. we just left.

Disappointed that the restaurant was closed all weekend and you did not disclose this when we booked but only the day of checking in.

in the wild but close enough to go to dinner in town.

Nice campground. Excellent staff, such as Trevor, Enrique, Elizabeth, Anita, Linda, Miranda, Cheyenne. Please thank them

The stay was awesome as usual. I stay fairly often. This time the only thing I wish was that we would have known about the beer festival. We would have bought tickets. It was still an awesome trip though.

Camped with our RV Group and enjoyed the peaceful area. Beautiful campground and RV Park. Very relaxing

We stayed with our camping club. The park is beautiful with many spacious sites. We definitely will return either with the Club or on our own.

Our first KOA stay... 3 nights. Quiet camping lower Arroyo Seco. Not busy when we were there. Only con: Not by the lake... 1.5 mile hike up hill to the lake. No vehicles. Second KOA trip booked for Visalia / Sequoia National Park KOA (Not actually near the park) We will use as a base camp to site see. Looking forward to it !

I loved our site, paid extra for the paved area, brick fire surround was nice. I loved the birds/trees, pools, having a laundry room on site. The maitai mobile was a nice touch, and we did go to have a drink with some new friends we met at the park. All the staff we interacted with were nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is that rules weren’t enforced, speed limit, aggressive dogs.

It would be nice to have full hookups including electrical. And better cell service.

They have a lot of things to do and some nice looking cabins but they should have built a couple less cabins and spent a lot more on bathroom and shower facilities. The showers were very disappointing. They don’t seem to spend much time keeping them clean.

Adjacent to great MTB trails. Primary negative is that some of the spaces are not very level.

I was tracking the availability for the weekend of my camping trip and thrilled to not only have a spot open up BUT to have - in my opinion - THE BEST SPOT in the entire campground. I cannot wait to return sometime in the very near future.

Loved the large campsites, the views and the trees. Staff helpful and friendly. We weren't able to use the firepit because there was trash left in there.

ENJOYED OUR STAY. LOTS TO DO. BIGGEST CAMP SITES WE'VE EVER SEEN. GREAT VIEWS AND SETTING. TRACH BINS WERE NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, UNFORTUNATELY.

Stay was great however we were told we didn’t have late checkout so we packed up early and moved to overflow parking. When we left the venue at 6:00 pm our spot was still empty!

Staff was great, especially Anita. Park was nice and clean. I would have rated the place higher however there was no notification that a mountain biking event was taking place over the weekend and we were very unhappy. It was too loud with a band playing the whole time we we there and the visitors were a bit obnoxious in many ways. A little heads up would have been nice.

Poor planning on the owners part. Big race weekend (not a surprise) and they planned a event that had a lot of people packing up early. How did they miss this?

Great location and a bar, wow. 3 things need improvement. 1. Registration signage: add a designated place for rigs to stop with it painted on the pavement and a large sign saying: REGISTER HERE. 2. Get reliable WI-FI throughout the park. 3. NOISE, having a live band play LOUD music within the camping spots is unacceptable after 6pm. If the band wishes to play in the public areas, okay.

We stayed in oak area and the showers were the most basic I have ever seen, no chair, no stools, ripped curtains, paint falling off walls. Absolutely the worse co diction for a shower I have seen in 45 years soft rving. Seems the place is very run down. We will not be back.

Nice place! Awesome pool area. Great spot for biking. Bathrooms clean but very rustic, no place to hang your clothes or sit while showering.

We were in 85 oaks. Beautiful site. Just FYI there are blocks on top of campfire ring that are not cemented down or are broken. Need repair so no one gets hurt! Thank you!

This campground is one of my favorite places to visit
Apr 27, 2024
Only disappointment was Vail lake is still closed. Website says it's open.

Roads inside the camp are horrible. Loud music and people yelling after 1100 pm and nobody to enforce quiet hours. The bathrooms are the most unkept, oldest and dilapidated I have ever seen! How about updating or at least a fresh coat of paint? Spend some money to make it more appealing. There is no excuse to have bathrooms look like that. I get owners are trying to earn a buck but c’mon man!

This was a perfect base camp for our family visit. We enjoyed all the on site amenities as well as local sites. We played mimi golf, horse shoes, nature walks, and a pool day. We also went to a local winery, a farmers market, and a cool museum, "The Western Science Center". I was also so happy we could camp with pets. Great camp I would visit again. Next time I want to enjoy the bike trails.

One of the best local way to get away and relax!

Nice place with some up grades could be outstanding, looks about the 1970 years.

Best campground was beautifully designed to accommodate lots of campers in such a way that I never felt crowded. Its main draw is ebike mountain and track. The trails were furiously busy with all kinds of bikers who were courteous and safe in their behaviors. The park had a beautiful large pool it was near a scenic very pretty lake. They offered lots of activities for families including a tethered hot-air balloon. There is a camp store, Cafe and bar. Prices were reasonable and service was cheerful. Campgrounds were never noisy at night and there was ample room for children to play in various areas. Showers, laundry facilities and restrooms were ample and very clean. At night and various times through the day there was entertainment but never noisy or disruptive.
