It’s a great campground but in the middle of nowhere. I think it would be a great place for locals to enjoy a weekend of camping but there is no attraction near by. The place was a ghost town but it was the cleanest facility I’ve seen in years. Ants were a bit much to handle at my camp site that was the only negative

Fell short of our KOA expectations, sites were small, overpriced and a bit messy; had to go to town and purchase a 50 ft hose to add to our hose to reach water; no trash pick up; lacking many of the amenities of other KOAs. Personnel guiding us in to our site seemed inexperienced (neighboring camper had the same complaint); office staff were cordial - however outside staff very unfriendly.

Easy check in, clean cabin, happy and accommodating staff members. Jimmy Buffet weekend was a blast with lots of activities. We had a wonderful weekend!

Nice open campsite with water and electric. Great entertainment playing for 4 hours in the evening. Peaceful and relaxing. Worth it.

The staff was great. We stayed on a tent site that was advertised as a "grass pad" after a nice rain the "dirt pad" was total mud. There were 4 tent sites in a row , ours was lovely, however, our neighbor was not in a a tent but a lovely large camper with 3 children, lots of family and/or friends and who really did not know what quiet time means. We didn't see any staff monitoring this either. :(

The people are great. The campground is nice, lots of shade on sites. The price is not worth the stay. I camp in a tent and I can camp at a state park with many similar amenities for half the price. I know the park is still being developed and the newest additions are very nice but do not justify the price at this time.

Staff was great cabin was real clean the only complaint I have is having to wait to 10 am to get my security deposit back office should Open earlier to me 10 is was to late to have to wait.

Our campground guide to our lot was very helpful in pulling in & setting up. Location of the lot was nice, wooded and private. We enjoyed our stay!

Very nice staff, clean restrooms and showers. The cabin we stayed in was clean and welcoming. The swimming pond is always my favorite, clean, relaxing, not too deep, well maintained.

It was very nice. A lot of nice big trees for shade. One time at gate we had to wait about 10 minutes to get back in because people was checking in. After talking to the owners they said we should of went inside and they would of let us go around the other way.

The hosts were so friendly and helpful! We were only staying one night on our destination to the UP but wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely will stay here again when back in the area and this time will plan for more nights! John was so helpful with a referral to Olson Tire to replace our bad trailer tires before we continued on our trip.

Nice camp grounds lots of mature trees. Bring leveling equipment as many site a not flat. No sewer hookup but very nice bath house. Beautiful area

Had an awesome time, a lot of activities for the weekend, my son that it was the greatest time ever camping. The owners take great care to make sure everything is great for their guests. The park is peaceful, friendly and always fun and relaxing. We love it here.

The nicest staff/ owners greeted us and lead us to our level, shaded, grassed site nestled in the trees. The shower/bath/laundry building is the absolute BEST, cleanest we have seen in over 300 campgrounds we’ve been to! Small swimming pond and beach plus playground is great for kids. Only 20 minutes from Mt. Pleasant and shopping plus casino. Only negative..needs sewer hookups. This is a GEM!

Had a great stay! Clean ,friendly and helpful. Great lil store and ice cream parlor. Delivered wood to campsite. Sites large and wooded …peaceful. Nice swimming pond/beach. Entertainment Saturday .. magician for all age groups.. cute! Tractor ride for all, trails, nice property well maintained. Cabins/rvs/tents welcome.. THANKS PATTY and JOHN for the great hospitality we will be back !

People were great campground was nice and clean. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was just what we were looking for nice and relaxing. I would definitely recommend visiting this KOA

Great campgrounds! Very nice! Very clean! Since not a full hookup site, we used their facilities. Exceptionally well kept!! Private showers always clean. Nice and quiet! Friendly and helpful staff! If you’re looking for a quiet place, this is the one for you!

We arrived late to check in, as it was our wedding day in southwest Michigan and got caught up with family and photos. The staff were so pleasant to check us in late to our cabin. The campground was also very clean! The bathrooms were well taken care of and we loved the laundry accommodations. Thank you!

Overall, we had a nice stay. A few notes: - We paid extra for a pull thru lot and we had to back in. - The sewer line didn’t reach our camper so we had to dump, which we don’t typically have to do at other campgrounds - One of the activities (whipped cream surprise) was either very late or never happened. We waited until about 1:30 before we had to leave to feed our kids lunch.

Everything was great. However I have never stayed at a KOA who had a minimum for credit card purchases which made me have to leave for supplies multiple times. Otherwise it was good

Very nice campground with very nice workers. Just got a new owner with good plans and is always willing to take suggestions. We had an amazing time and will be coming back

We found this KOA so we could stay close to a tournament for my son. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The new owner just took over a month ago, and had brought on a couple new staff members. We stayed for 3 nights and we can't wait to come back! Every single staff person is incredibly friendly, the owner is very hands on and extremely nice, and sincerely wants to make people happy. The pond was super cute (and they have it treated), my kids loved swimming in there. There's a playground and nature trail, and it seems like there's a lot of future plans being made. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!! We will definitely be back!!!!!

Fantastic sites tucked back in the trees. We had a funky pull through that utilities were far from the parking in #42, but otherwise fantastic. Very level. Didn't have kids but the playground, pond and kids area looked fantastic!
