Omelet Bags

Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 eggs per person, scrambled
  • cheese
  • veggies or meat as desired

Directions

Take a ziploc bag and put in scrambled eggs then add omelette fillings (easy on the cheese). Seal while letting out as much air as possible. Then place the bag into the boiling water for 10-15 minutes - you just have to watch and see.

Use longer tongs (or mits) to get the bags out of the water (they will be HOT -- not for kids to do). Empty bag onto a plate and enjoy! I always add cheese after it comes out of the pot because if you add too much during the cooking stage it could get runny. You'll have a great steamed omelette!! This is a great and easy breakfast. One tip: Egg Beaters do not work well with this -- they make the omelettes runny.
