Craig KOAOpen all year The Yampa River flows through the town of Craig, which is located in a mountain valley 40 miles west of Steamboat Springs and 90 miles east of Dinosaur National Monument. Big herds of elk roam in the nearby mountains, and the deer and the antelope play in the campground. You'll find plenty of great trails to explore, with opportunities for hiking, fishing and hunting.
