Set at 7,000 feet under the cool shade of ponderosa pines bordering the Coconino National Forest and on historic Route 66, this KOA is a hub for exploring the Grand Canyon and other attractions. In summer, ride the nearby Skyride up to 11,500 feet for a view of the Grand Canyon area and the city of Flagstaff. Set out on hiking trails from your campsite. Or go east, where a paved walkway leads into Walnut Canyon and its ancient cliff dwellings. Drive among Oak Creek Canyon's multihued cliffs, then browse the shops of Sedona. Flagstaff's Northern Arizona Museum features local geology and native cultures. Shop and dine in historic downtown Flagstaff. KOA staff can help arrange tours to northern Arizona sites.
