One of the area's newest attractions is the Vanishing Species Wildlife Haven, located about a Half-hour north of us on Highway 27 in Palmdale. Next time you're staying with us, plan to spend an afternoon there for a thrilling look at many rare and beautiful animals, including this Florida panther cub!

Airboat Tours or Fishing Charters

For a truly unique adventure, take an airboat tour or fishing charter from Roland Martin's Marina, only 5 minutes away from the Clewiston KOA!

Afterward, relax at their Tiki bar, with live music every Saturday night!

Golfing

You can also play golf at the Clewiston Country Club, which is open to the public year-round!

Fishing

Great fishing awaits on Lake Okeechobee, Florida's largest, only 3 miles away!

Skydiving is a also a popular adventure, just don't land on our building!

Hike or bike the perimeter of the lake atop the Herbert Hoover Dike, 130 miles in diameter, with breath-taking views of the lake and surrounding countryside!

Take a motorcycle tour of the lake and surrounding towns, the safest and most scenic ride in Florida (Almost no traffic! Honest!)

Dine in Clewiston at several fine restaurants, including Sonny's Barbeque and Scoopy Doo's Italian-American restaurant. (Can't explain the name, but the food speaks for itself!)
