Calhoun KOAOpen all year Our beautiful KOA is located less than two miles from I-75, in the foothills of the north Georgia mountains. New this year, are pony rides and horseback trail rides through the scenic backwoods. These will compliment the existing amenities that have become very popular with our guests, such as the petting zoo, pet play park, catch and release fishing pond, mini/whiffle golf, hayrides, bike rentals, and an 8-foot movie/TV screen for Nascar/NHRA racing or a movie for the kids. Take a dip in the pool, sing karaoke, or play in the game room. Pizza is cooked and delivered to your site for a no hassle supper and a hot cappuccino from our coffee shop will get you moving in the morning. Remember our pavilion is great for birthday parties, reunions, or any get together. Don't have an RV to stay in? That's okay, our new upgraded deluxe kabins are equipped with cable TV and a fridge. Or for all the comforts, try our lodges with a stove, microwave, bathroom, cable TV, and fridge. Just unwind, relax, build a fire, and have some s'mores. Located between Atlanta and Chattanooga, the Calhoun KOA makes a great overnight stop, or stay a few days with us and have a great time. There is so much to do in the area, such as exploring the new Echota Historic Site, boating on Carters Lake, shopping at the large Tanger outlet mall or at one of the many local antique stores.
