Trego County Free Fair
July 21st - 26th

At the historic Trego County Fairgrounds. Events at the Trego Fair include: grandstand entertainment, chainsaw art, tractor pulls, kids tractor pedal pulls, carnival, mutton busting & ranch rodeo, muddy pig contest, and watermelon feed.

Prairie Fest
2nd weekend of September

Living history demonstrations, food and craft vendors, prairie costume contest, scarecrow contest, horseshoe tournament in a small town on the Western Kansas prairie.
