Passionate about being outdoors and about KOA, Tom and Tracy clearly love their jobs and couldn't be happier about their long term plans. "We both love working with KOA; it has given us a pride that is seldom found in the professional world. Every day, we open the doors to a new beginning; new guests, new situations, and a new horizon. It's so wonderful how we can touch so many lives in a positive way. Life is good," says Tracy. Prior to becoming work campers within the KOA family, Tom and Tracy lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tom worked as a mechanical engineer for nearly 40 years, and Tracy worked in the customer service department of Home Depot. "After career switching into the camping industry, we realized how much we love the camping life. Our plans are to purchase the campground in the future and spend the next 20 years traveling down the yellow shirt road!" says Tracy. Tom and Tracy work very hard to keep the Shreveport/Bossier KOA clean and efficient, and to satisfy every camper. "We take pride in the cleanliness of our campground. It is very important to make the campground presentable to the campers. We take care of one guest at a time and treat them as we would in our home. Like the saying goes, there is nothing like a happy camper!" says Tom. When not found at the KOA campground, Tom can be found scuba diving or flying (he is a FAA licensed pilot), and Tracy can be found reading, hiking, or watching NASCAR or football.
