Holly Meadows Golf Course

Holly Meadows Golf Course is open from Daylight till Dark. We have it all with 11 Ponds, Wetlands and Marshes, and topped off with bunkers on almost every hole. Huron Lady II Tour Boat

Two-hour Huron Lady sightseeing tours cruise the St. Clair River and under the two Blue Water Bridges into Lake Huron. Along the route you and your friends will view the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, Canada, Great Lake Ships, the Huron Lightship and the Coast Guard Cutter Hollyhock. The tour is narrated and focuses on the history of the area, local sights and the significance of shipping on the Great Lakes. 2007 Bayview Mackinac Race

One of the greatest freshwater long distance yacht races in the World. The tradition continues with the 82nd edition of the race scheduled to start on Saturday, July 15, 2006, just a few miles north of the Blue Water Bridge in Port Huron, MI. Over the years, the race has become an icon of sailing in the Great Lakes. The Mackinac Race brings participants from across the country and around the World to compete in the challenging fresh water and sometimes fickle breezes of the Great Lakes.

Fort Gratiot Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is located at 2800 Omar Street in Port Huron, Michigan. The Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, built in 1825 and rebuilt in 1829 and 1861, was the first lighthouse on Lake Huron and is the oldest surviving lighthouse in Michigan. Lighthouse Park

Walkers, hikers, bicyclists and horse riders

Walkers, hikers, bicyclists and horse riders are now enjoying many improvements that have been made to the Wadhams to Avoca Trail. The centerpiece of the trail is the 640-foot long Mill Creek Trestle. Built in the late 1800's, the 60-foot high trestle has been decked and railed to provide safe access for walkers and bicyclists. Four overlook areas have also been installed on the trestle so the trail users can enjoy the beautiful views up and down Mill Creek. The trail is 10' wide and over 12 miles in length.

Bridge to Bay Trail

Follow the trail from the Blue Water Bridge to Anchor Bay and beyond. The trail extends from St. Clair County's northern border, under the Blue Water Bridges, through Port Huron, Marysville, St. Clair, Marine City and Algonac; past state and municipal parks, museums, gazebos and lighthouses. Sometimes the trail is within reach of the water's edge and sometimes a few miles inland. It connects St. Clair County communities for walkers, joggers, strollers and bicyclists of all ages. Eventually the Bridge to Bay trail will be a 54-mile paved pedestrian/bike path. No charge.

Goodells County Park

Splashpad, playground, riding rings and a BMX Bicycle track. Goodells County Park is open 8 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Free admission except during some special events.

Hiawatha Horse Park & Entertainment Center

Located at the mouth of the St. Clair River across from Port Huron, Sarnia is home to the Hiawatha Horse Park. Ten minutes from the Bluewater Bridge and 20 minutes from downtown, Hiawatha is open year round for simulcast racing and, from May to November, for live harness racing. Since April 1999, Sarnia's racetrack has also hosted a slots casino that is open from 9 am to 4 am daily. The 450+ slots at Hiawatha range from a quarter to $5.00 , and include video poker machines. The player's card is the same for all of the charity and racetrack slot casinos in Ontario; it is called the "Winner's Circle" and is free upon application.

Blake's Orchard and Cider Mill

The Huron Lightship Museum

The Huron Lightship Museum is located just north of The Port Huron Museum at Pine Grove Park. Enjoy a first-hand look at how sailors lived and worked on-board the lightship. Lightships were like floating lighthouses, anchored in areas that were too deep or expansive to construct a lighthouse. Eventually, lighted buoys replaced lightships and the Huron Lightship, the last of her kind, retired from service.

Thomas Edison Depot Museum

The Thomas Edison Depot Museum is located in the Railroad Depot of Fort Gratiot Station of the Grand Trunk Railroad. Take a trip through the past, tour Thomas Edison's life. Thomas Edison conducted his first scientific experiments on the train between Port Huron and Detroit. An authentic railcar with a recreation of Edison's mobile printing shop and chemistry laboratory is part of the display.

Highlander Sea

This tall ship is at Desmond Landing in Port Huron just south of the Blue Water Bridge. Tour this gaff-rigged, topsail schooner built in 1924. In her current role, she is Port Huron's Flagship providing educational experiences for the public.

The Knowlton Ice Museum

This museum seeks to preserve and display over 3000 items used in the cutting, harvesting, storing, selling, and use of natural ice as used by the ice industry of years ago. The Bramble Coast Guard Cutter and Buoy Tender

Located at Desmond Landing in Port Huron, it was commissioned in 1944, participated in "Operation Crossroads," and was the first test of an atomic bomb's effect on surface ships at Bikini Island. Come explore the ship and learn about its many missions.

Birchwood Mall

If shopping is your favorite pastime, visit Birchwood Mall in Port Huron, I-69 to M-25 north, with over 100 stores including, Marshall Fields, JC Penney, Sears, Target, Old Navy and Younkers. Port Huron Museum

The Port Huron Museum is in downtown Port Huron at 1115 6th Street. Explore special monthly exhibits along with the museum's permanent displays. You can view Woolly Mammoth bones, the remains of a Woodlands Culture Fishing Village, Fort Gratiot artifacts, Fort St. Joseph and the French Fur Trade, ship models and nautical objects, a Victorian parlor and models of the railroad and river tunnel.

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad
