Truman Library and Museum

Enjoy the exhibits, A/V shows and memorabilia on Harry S. Truman’s presidency and private life. Jackson County Courthouse-Truman Courtroom

Presents a program about Truman and Independence in the courtroom where he served as Presiding County Judge.

Harry S. Truman Farm Home

Stands 20 miles south of Independence. Mr. Truman operated the family farm from 1906-1917. The home is now part of the Harry S. Truman National Historic Site. Guided tours provided.
