You'll feel like you're getting away from it all when you pull into this KOA, where half of the 20-acre campground is wooded. Yet you're just off I-70 and close to all the city sights and casinos. Park on a shaded, level pull thru or choose an air-conditioned Kamping Kabin. There's a multipurpose room for groups and local catering available. With mini golf, swimming, a game room, a playground and sports courts to entertain kids and adults, it's a great place for reunions. Kansas City offers loads to do: Cheer the Royals and Chiefs. Shop at the famous Country Club Plaza, Crown Center or outlet malls. Visit Harry Truman's home, library and museum. Get your thrills at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun (pick up discounted tickets in the campground store-along with homemade apple butter). Be sure to ask where to sample the city's famous barbecue too. A Bass Pro Shops retail store is just minutes from the campground.
