May 10 - Mother's Day/Come Camp & Care With Us Weekend

Auction to benefit Care Camps (for kids with cancer). Clean out your closet and donate items for a good cause. Mother's Day plant sale (weather permitting).

Thanks to the support of our campers, we were able to raise over $6,000 for KOA Care Camps in 2007. This year we will kick off our fundraising campaign by hosting an auction on May 10. If you have reservations for Asheville East KOA over the weekend of May 9, please bring a new, used, wrapped or unwrapped item to donate to the auction. Thank you.

We provide the clues, you do the "hunting". Enjoy a Spaghetti dinner to benefit Care Camps

June 14 - Father's Day

Dad's will compete to "capture the flag". Kids Father's day craft on Saturday. Ice cream social and bingo. Dad's eat breakfast free on Sunday.

June 21 - Get your act together for the Talent Show and/or Karaoke

June 22 - The Prodigal Sons Gospel Quartet

June 28 - Western Weekend

YeeHaw! Put those 6 guns in your holster and dust off your spurs for this wild west weekend.

July 5 - Independence Day Weekend

Weekend events to include the Annual Duck Race to benefit Care Camps and kids activities. Evening ice cream social, and DJ

July 12 - Care Camp Carnival

Come support Care Camps and play some old fashioned carnival games. Face painting, games, prizes and fun. Kids flashlight candy hunt, Bingo and ice cream social

July 19 - Pirate Weekend

Captain Jack Sparrow is looking for a few good pirates for adventure on the high seas. Swashbuckling good time includes crafts, games and a search for pirate "booty"

July 26 - Christmas in July

Site decorating contest, crafts and a picture with Santa. Saturday night Bingo and ice cream social.

August 02 - Water Fun Weekend

Bring your own super soaker and take part in a super soaking fight, water balloon fight, beach ball relay, inflatable "Bonsai Falls"

August 09 - Campground Flea Market and Camper Appreciation BBQ

Set up a booth at your site to sell your treasures. Our delicious slow roasted BBQ provided at no cost to campers who have camped with us at least two previous weekends this year.

August 16 - Hawaiian Luau

Come to the mountains to go to the beach! Limbo contest, hula hoop contest, pineapple/coconut rolling, Lei making, wear your most outrageous Hawaiian shirt.

August 23 - NASCAR Weekend

Enjoy watching the Bristol Race here. 50/50 racing "pool" and pick the winner - Half goes to Care Camps. Kids racing contests, bike race and road rally.

August 30 - Labor Day Weekend

Care Camps Auction. Saturday night ice cream social and DJ. Sunday night ice cream social and Bingo

September 6 - The Price is Right!

Camp a minimum of 6 nights with us in 2008 to receive 1 night free with a minimum of 2 night stay. Saturday play the Price is Right game

October 11 - Oktoberfest

Experience a bit of the German Old Country with Brats, Polka music and more.

October 18 - Celebrate Halloween early

Afternoon games and pumpkin carving contest.

October 25 - Halloween Too!
