Explore the verdant Blue Ridge Mountains that roll off to the west. Take to the waters of nearby Lake Norman for a little boating and fishing or play a round of golf at lush area courses. Thrill the kids with a day at Carowinds theme park (about an hour away). Explore Old Salem Moravian Village. Ready to shop? The I-77 Exit 45 City of Statesville campground has plenty of surrounding activities to keep you busy! North Carolina is famous for its furniture outlets.
