Welcoming pets and people, the Tucumcari KOA calls itself "the friendliest stop on I-40." There's plenty of room for the largest and smallest RVs on the road, plus grass for tenters. This KOA offers beautiful views of Tucumcari Mountain, plateaus, mesas and pastures. In this quiet country atmosphere, wildlife abounds. Come spend a couple of days or longer and enjoy fishing at nearby Ute Lake, cruise down old Route 66 to see the neon signs in town at night or visit the world-class dinosaur museum. Shop for memorabilia in the KOA gift shop or the old Tee Pee Curio. Swings and teeter-totters entertain kids young and old. This KOA is group friendly, with food service delivery to your site upon request.
