Paramount’s Kings Island Amusement Park

One of Ohio’s premier amusement parks with rides, games and shows daily. Rides for the young and old with a special area just for the little ones. Concerts are held on various dates throughout the summer featuring national acts. A ticket to the concert includes admission into the park.

This nationally recognized hall features information on players with outstanding careers at our nation’s colleges and universities. Located next to Kings Island.

The Beach

Ranked as a national top 10 waterpark by the New York Times, The Beach is the largest regional waterpark with the only watercoaster in the Midwest. Relax in adult leisure area, splash in Thunder Beach wave pool or race down water slides. Play areas for children, food and shopping. Open daily May 24 to September 2.

I & O Scenic Railway

Take an old-time train with a 1950’s diesel and 1930’s passenger cars through the rural countryside of southwest Ohio on a relaxing one-hour trip. Also offered are lunch and dinner excursions to the Golden Lamb Inn (Restaurant). Trips available May through October (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum

Displays not only memorabilia but lets visitors experience a simulated trip to the moon in its astrotheatre.

Piqua Historical Area

Glimpse another transportation era featuring the restored home of Federal Indian Agent Col. John Johnston and a reconstructed section of the Miami and Erie Canal, where you can ride on the General Harrison, an authentic canal boat pulled by mules. Please call (800) 752-2619 for more information.

Covered Bridge Tour

Our area features some of the finest examples of covered bridges that represent a period of time when the proliferation of roads was in the beginning stages and transportation was primarily by horse and buggy. Many of these bridges can still be driven across. We have a map that directs you on a tour of all the local bridges.
