TIPS FOR CROSSING INTO CANADA-- IT'S REALLY EASY. PASSPORTS ARE NOT REQUIRED.

PASSPORTS ARE NOT REQUIRED UNTIL June 1,2009 FOR LAND CROSSINGS.. You must have proof of citizenship (birth certificate) readily available and a photo ID- drivers licence. Have birth certificate for children. If travelling with children who are not a part of your immediate family, have a note that the child has permission to cross the border with you.

Passports NOT Required Until 2009

The US Departments of State and Homeland Security has announced US citizens will not be required to show a passport at land crossings until 2009.
