St. Lawrence Seaway Locks ( 30 Minutes)

The construction of the St. Lawrence Power Project and Seaway, which took place in the 1950s, permanently raised the water level of the St. Lawrence River between Iroquois and Cornwall, in Eastern Ontario, submerging several villages. Now it represents not only a huge boating heaven but one of the worlds largest shipping lane. Westport (45 Minutes)

The Town of Westport, Ontario is nestled in the heartlands of the Rideau Lakes, about 45 minutes north of Kingston. Offering a vast selection of services year round, Westport is a pleasant surprise and unforgettable destination. Why not stop by? You'll be glad you did!

Greater Napanee (45 Minutes)

Conveniently located along the Highway 401 corridor mid-way between Belleville and Kingston at Exit 579 you'll find a charming community with a Victorian flavour and a history rooted in the Loyalist migrations and the boom economies of 19th and early 20th century logging and shipping. Streets lined with mature maples, a lovely waterfront park & boardwalk, docking facilities a short walk from the downtown and a nice variety of attractive shops will invite you to linger for a day or two. Napanee and the Bay of Quinte are well recognized as the " Walleye Capital" ~ Try your luck at catching "the big one". In May and June you can relive history as the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and the United Empire Loyalists honour the landing of their forefathers over 200 years ago. June is strawberry season and there are many U-pick farms in the area to tempt your tastebuds. Or, you can experience rural hospitality at a "strawberry social". During the summer months you can enjoy live outdoor concerts every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm at the waterfront Millennium Pavillion ~ Sailors can enjoy the concerts from the decks of their boats. Upper Canada Village ( 1 Hour)

From May to October at Upper Canada Village escape to another time and place, amidst the sights and sounds of an 1860s village. You'll meet loads of friendly folk from the past as you visit over 40 heritage buildings including mills, trades shops, farms, churches, homes, factories and even a one-room schoolhouse. Athens ( 20 Minutes)

Come see the attractions this small town and its surroundings have to offer! Athens is well known for the beautiful murals that grace our buildings. See the Virtual Walking Tour! Annual festivals including Cornfest, Farmersville, and the Parade of Lights entertain local people and visitors from afar. Meanwhile, nearby Charleston Lake offers wonderful opportunites for swimming, fishing, boating, or just communing with nature. Athens is a lively town, definitely worth an afternoon of looking at the murals, visiting the local stores, seeing some area sites of interest and meeting the local people of Athens. Sandbanks Provincial Park ( 2 Hours)

Sandbanks Provincial Park is one of southern Ontario's most delightful recreational spots, a summer magnet for campers and day visitors. Sandbanks boasts three sandy beaches, Outlet Beach, Sandbanks Beach and Dunes Beach, among the largest and most beautiful beaches in Ontario, with golden sand and sparkling water. Windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and boating compete with sunbathing and swimming as favourite park activities.

Smiths Falls (45 minutes)

Situated in a picturesque area along the Rideau Canal, with over 90 acres of parkland, Smiths Falls is a beautiful town with plenty to see and do. There's fishing, hiking, tennis, swimming, boating, birdwatching, ball diamonds, lawn bowling, basketball, darts, hockey, squash, bowling, billards, shopping, good dining and overnight accommodations including hotels, motels and B&Bs. The list of things to do and see goes on and on. Come by boat, there's plently of docking space.

Merrickville (45 minutes)
