Nestled among the Blue Mountains, the Pine Grove/Twin Grove Park KOA comes packed with a lot of camping fun. You might find a luau in full swing or a pool party, fireworks for the Fourth of July, a Civil War reenactment, a car show or Santa enchanting the little ones. A band shell hosts live music on summer weekends. Kids can play paintball, clamor happily down the spiraling pool slide and hop aboard the carousel and other carnival rides on-site. The whole family will enjoy this KOA's food service too. Across the way in Swatara State Park is a rail-trail path for hikers, bikers and cross-country skiers. Visit in spring for great trout fishing. Plummet down vintage coasters at Hersheypark or tour the Lancaster Amish Country, where buggies clip-clop through bucolic farm towns.
