Our Events

April 4-6: Clean Up Weekend

Free Camping weekend for campers that are willing to work. You bring the rakes and clean up campsites, and you camp for free. We supply the coffee, cocoa and snacks to help you keep up your energy throughout the day.

April 11-13: Seasonal Start Up Weekend

Seasonal campers get the season going. Meet up with old friends & make some new camping friends just starting out. There will be a Pot Luck Supper on Saturday night followed by live music with Men & Machine.

April 18-20: Craft Show & Open House

Great chance to visit the park and see what we have to offer. Even if you do not want to come camping, please stop by for a tour and pick up camping information for another time. We will be having a Craft Show, open to the public on Saturday & Sunday. There will be many great vendors with a variety of items for sale.
Vendors Needed: If you are interested in reserving a table ($) for our show, please contact our office asap. Spaces are limited but still available.

April 25-28: Spring Fling Weekend

Spring is in the air, and the camping is just getting better along with the weather. Bingo! Will start this weekend, arts & crafts, and the first Ice Cream Social of the season will get you into the camping fun.

May 2-4: Rock & Roll Weekend

Music & fun just go together. Get creative for the first weekend of ceramics. Bring a clean white T-Shirt for the afternoon Tie Dye Party, for kids & adults. Dress up as your favorite Rock Star and dance & sing with our Saturday night dance party.

May 9-11: “Come Camp and Care with Us Weekend” & Mother’s Day Weekend

A very special weekend, not just for Mom, but also to help a great cause. There will be plenty of special events for Mom, including a Mother’s Day Breakfast ($) on Sunday. Mom eats free with a paying guest. There will also be events & activities to benefit KOA Cancer Care Camps, including a Chinese Auction. Special camping offer available – Pay for Friday Night, Get Saturday night Free. Check out www.koa.com for more details.

May 16-18: Death by Chocolate Weekend

Chocolate isn’t just for dessert on this weekend. You are going to eat it, play with it and slide in it. Yes…It is the return of the Chocolate Slip & Slide – New & Improved and messier than before. Kids & Adults bring old clothes or bathing suits, because you are going to get dipped in chocolate.

May 23-26: Memorial Day Weekend

Come celebrate the first big camping weekend of the season. Pools open for the summer. We will have Al the Balloon Guy, games, fire truck rides, and a mini golf tournament for some fun. Sugar Foot DJ will be here to get you dancing. Bring some treasures to sell at the site sales on Saturday.

May 30 –June 1: Water Fun Weekend

It’s Wet… It’s Wild… It’s Water Fun Weekend. Bring your best squirt gun for the Water Wars and take aim at the Firetruck Ride as it goes by. Bring your bathing suits and a towel. There will be Bubble Fun, Water Balloons & Frozen Water Games, too.

June 6-8: RV Show & Chicken BBQ

Now is your chance to shop for that new camper you always wanted. A variety of local RV dealers (tba) will be bringing a great selection of what they have to offer right to your camping door. Show on Sat & Sun. Open to the public. After you do some shopping, bring your appetite to our Chicken BBQ on Saturday night, then finish the evening with a Drive In Movie.

June 13-15: Father’s Day Weekend & Tractor Show

It is Dad’s turn to have a special weekend. Games & events made just for Dad. Sunday morning Father’s Day Breakfast ($) Dad eats Free with a paying guest. If you have a tractor, new or old, bring with you this weekend. Free camping for tractor owners on selected sites. Tractor Parades, show, competition & games add to the weekend fun.

June 20-22: Kid’s Weekend

It is all about kid kind of fun on this weekend. There will be a Teen’s Only Pool Pizza Party, Kids Cartoon Breakfast, Karaoke, games, fun and laughter. Al the Balloon Guy will be here making fun balloon creatures for all the kids. Take a run through our “Slop-stacle Course” if you dare. Good messy kid fun!

June 27-29: Pirate Treasure Weekend

Ahoy matey! Put on your eye patch and be prepared to Walk the Plank. Dig & Dive for buried treasure and fire the cannons for fun! It will be a Mutiny when you put your favorite (or not so favorite) people in our “Pirate Jail.” We lock them up, and someone will have to pay with some treasure ($) to get them free. Fund Raising Event for KOA Care Camps, and great for laughs!

July 3-6: Fourth of July Celebration

It is your patriotic duty to camp and have fun on this long weekend. Arts & Crafts, Firetruck rides and games are just some of the fun. “Men & Machine” will perform on Saturday night. Decorate your bikes or golf carts for our Patriotic Parade.

July 11-13: Christmas In July

Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa Claus is coming to town! There will be fun for all the good little girls & boys. There will be an afternoon Christmas party for the kids with a live Christmas Show and a surprise guest! Parents bring a gift for Santa to give to the kids. Bake a batch of your special cookies and bring them to the cookie party on Saturday night. Memory Music will be here to perform their Christmas Variety Show. Site decorating contest for the site with the most holiday spirit!

July 18-20: Sawmill Festival #1

Sharpen up the saws and your nail driving skills. This weekend will challenge your strength and stamina. Join in on one or all of the events from the obstacle course to the log roll competition, the tug of war to the cross cut saw. The 3-legged race and the greased pole climb even let the little kids join in on the fun. This is a full weekend of events ending with the Awards Ceremony on Sunday!

July 25-27: Sawmill Festival #2

One Sawmill Festival is not enough. There will be the same events as previous weekend. Come join for the first time, or come back for another round.
Check out our “Hot Deals” - Great time to take advantage of the “On Site Storage Special.” Come back for two fantastic weekends in a row.

August 1-3: Hawaiian Luau Party & Pig Roast

Aloha Campers! Bring your best Hawaiian shirt & grass skirt to our Luau Party weekend. Sand Castle Building & Live Music will get you in the beach mood. Al the Balloon Guy will be making tropical treats. Saturday evening Pig Roast ($) for all to enjoy!

August 8-10: Wild West Weekend & Chuckwagon Supper

Yee-Haw! We are going to have a rootin’ tootin’ good time. There will be fun for all ages with a Horseshoe Tournament and a Barrel Racing Competition. Saturday afternoon we will be cooking up a huge batch of fresh Corn on the Cob. You can bring your own vittles & cook over the open fires or let us feed you our special Chicken BBQ ($) with all fixin’s. Either way, the Corn is free!

August 15-17: Family Olympics Weekend

Get the family together for a fun filled weekend. There will be games for all ages, family members and skill levels. Fun competition among friends. Be prepared for the annual “Float Your Boat Competition.” Get the whole family together to build your best floating creation as one of our many events. Make sure you have a great team name when we announce the winners at our Sunday morning Awards Ceremony.

August 22-24: World Series Weekend

It is all about Baseball this weekend. The Little League World Series will be having their championship games on Sat & Sun. If you decide not to go to the games, we will be sure to keep you entertained with games, activities & movies with baseball in mind.

August 29-Sept 1: Labor Day Weekend

Summer may be ending, but we just keep on having fun here. There will be the end of season Site Sales on Saturday, arts & crafts, candy bar Bingo, firetruck rides, mini golf tournament, Sugar Foot DJ will be back to get you dancing, and the fun just goes on, and on…

Sept 5-7: Wild Wings Weekend

Hot & Spicy? Sweet & Saucy? How do you like your Chicken Wings? Well…you are a going to show us. Cook up a batch of your best chicken wings and enter our Chicken Wing Contest! We will be making a big batch for all to share. Men & Machine will be back to perform for you.

September 12-14: Hobo Stew Weekend

Wear your old clothes and pack up your backpack. Help us break ground on our New Nature & Hiking Trail. Come willing to help clear/make trails, and get a Free Night of Camping. After all your hard work, we will fill you up with our special batch of “Hobo Stew” We will fire up the kettles and put in the meat. You bring vegetables, noodles, whatever you like & let it cook all afternoon. It always turns out great!

September 19-21: Fair Weekend

It is time for the 2008 Bloomsburg Fair. Spend the day riding the rides and eating all the best ‘Fair Food” then come back to the park for a campfire or enjoy our Drive In Movie. Check out www.Bloomsburgfair.com for all the events and performances.

September 27-29: Chili Cook Off

We just keep on cooking through the Fall. Simmer up a pot of your best chili and enter it in our Saturday afternoon Chili Contest. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Join us in the Picnic area for the judging. After the competition we will be serving up our own batch of chili & cornbread for all to enjoy. Bring your own bowls & spoons.

October 3-5: Fall Festival & Kettle Cook

Come enjoy the crisp fall air. Enjoy a long weekend relaxing by the campfire. We will be lighting our kettles on Saturday morning and making homemade scrapple. See it being made & maybe take a taste. You can buy a pan for your Sunday breakfast.

October 10-12: Oldies Weekend

Remember the “Good Old Days?” Bring them back on this fun filled weekend. Hula Hoops, Bubble Gum Blowing Contest & a Root Beer Float Party are just some of the fun. Memory Music will be back with their 50’s Musical Variety Show to entertain you. Last Bingo Weekend.

October 17-19: Halloween Weekend #1

Get all the little ghosts & goblins ready. Halloween fun is here! We will be having our Costume Contest for all ages (Yes..adults, too) & Halloween Party. Bring a snack to share. Trick or Treating to all the campsites and a Site Decorating Contest keep the fun going all weekend. End each night (Fri & Sat) with a tour through our Haunted House & Maze ($) You just never know what might be hiding behind the corner!

October 24-26: Halloween Weekend #2

Same events as Halloween #1. If you didn’t have Halloween fun last weekend, you can come on back for more. Take advantage of the Midweek On Site Storage Special, and leave your RV hooked up for two great weekends in a row.

October 31-November 2: Fall Clean Up Weekend

Sorry campers… the season is over. It is time to put the park away for the winter again. Free Camping weekend if you are willing to rake leaves and clean up sites before the snow flies. We will keep you warm with free coffee, cocoa & snacks. Good Bye 2008 Camping Season
