1880’s Town

The town consists of more than 30 original buildings relocated to this site from throughout the state and furnished with thousands of unique relics of the old west. Located 1/2 mile South.

Pioneer Auto and Antique Town

Over 250 antique and classic cars, motorcycles and cycles, over 60 antique tractors and farm machinery, dishes, glassware, ladies style show, antique toys, antique music boxes, 10 acres of antique town, 39 buildings of exhibits, snack shop and souvenir shop.

Badlands National Park

Badlands National Park consists of sharply eroded buttes, pinnacles and spires blended with mixed grass prairies. The Badlands National Park also contains the world's richest Oligocene epoch fossil beds, dating 23 to 35 million years old.

Hot Mineral Baths

Badlands Petrified Gardens

While walking through the Petrified Gardens, you will be walking through the eons of time that the Badlands fossils, logs and minerals represent. The Badlands area has undergone dramatic climatic and geographic changes over the millions of years that they represent. It has changed from sea to swamp to grassland. The sea life fossils are 200 million years old; the petrified wood is 60 million years old; and the fossil mammals are 40 million years old.

Midland Pioneer Museum

Dedicated to the preservation of the pioneer lifestyle, this museum features a homestead shack, pioneer machinery and pictures related to the historical past of the surrounding community.

The Westlakes Ghost Town and Rock Shop

Imagine a time gone by as you walk the streets of Okaton where pioneers came to start a new life. Also take time to visit the Rock Shop featuring fossils and minerals along with antiques, tools and collectibles.
