Amarillo KOA receives 2007 President's Award

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. honored Amarillo KOA owners, Tim & Bobbi Hulen, with the KOA President's Award for their outstanding facility and operation.

Amarillo KOA received the President's Award for their exceptional scores on the quality assurance facilities review, for being a positive part of the KOA system, and for receiving high scores on their annual camper satisfaction survey from their camping guests.

Awesome K-9 Park

Amarillo KOA is very pleased to annouce the construction of a 30 x 40 ft leash-free K-9 Park. Construction will begin the later part of March and we anticipate completion in mid-April. The dog park will be furnished with several benches located under a covered shade area and several pieces of "doggie" playground equipment. Amarillo KOA is delighted to provide this outstanding feature for our canine campers!

New Restroom Facilities and 3 New Kabins!!!!

Amarllo KOA has grown in a BIG way!! We are proud to announce the addition of 3 new Kamping Kabins and new satelite restroom/shower facility. Our new facility provides "larger" showers/privacy areas. The new restroom building also features a "private" handicap accessible room.
In addition, our Recreation Room has received a "make-over" which now provides a more appealing setting to play games or relax. We welcome family reunions/groups to reserve this room.

Amarillo KOA is proud to announce a new WiFi provider. WiFi access is *FREE* for all registered *daily or *weekly campground guests. Enjoy the freedom of using your computer in the comfort of your RV, Kabin, or Tent site, any time of day or night.

Nightly Hay Wagon Rides

Amarillo KOA is pleased to announce the arrival of "Jaden's Wagon". This custom constructed haywagon is named after our youngest employee, Jaden Tijerina.

Jaden invites all of our guests to enjoy a fun-filled hayride throughout the campground each night (weather permitting)May through August. Whether you are young or young-at-heart, don't miss out on this unique campground event.

Kabin Bed Linens and TV Rentals Now Available

Amarillo KOA now offers Bed Linens and/or TV rentals for your Kabin experience. Bed Linens and TV's can be rented for a small fee for those guests who do not travel with these items.

If you are interested in this convenient service, please notify our staff that you will need these rental items at the time of your Kabin reservation.

Amarillo KOA continues to make "GREAT" efforts to provide the best possible camping experience for our guests.

Horse Corral Now Available

Traveling with horses? We offer a brand new 12'x 16' pipe corral with bow gate for your horses' comfort and safety. We also have running water there so you can easily water them after a long days journey. There is an $8 charge per horse and we do require you to clean up before you leave so that the next horse has a clean place to stay. If possible, please call ahead to check on availability.
