FREE Barbeque
July 28 and July 29

On July 28 and July 29, the Knights of Columbus facility next door to our campground is hosting a Barbeque Contest and "Garden Tractor Pull". Campers staying at Waco North KOA campground have been invited to participate in the event as the barbeque judges. There will be over 100 barbeque cooks participating in the event, each providing our campers with as much FREE barbeque as they can eat over the 2 days.

While washing down all the great barbeque with a cold beer or iced tea, be sure to fill out a judges card to place your vote for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best barbeque. In addition to the barbeque contest, the American Garden Tractor Pullers Association will be competing over the weekend. These guys take a standard Craftsman garden tractor from Sears, remove the Briggs & Stratton 5hp motor, and strap on a Chevy V-8 engine in it's place! If you have never seen a garden tractor that can compete with a Corvette in the 1/4 mile, then you need to witness this!
