1869 historical Army fort. From Junction KOA take Interstate 10 west to exit 442 to FM 1674. To make a loop back to Junction, take Highway 190 out of Fort McKavett to Menard and Highway 83 to Junction. Approximately 30 miles.

Kimble County Historical Museum

Relics from days of early settlers. 4th Street and College Street. One mile.

Y.O. Ranch

Southwest’s largest deer and exotic game preserve. From Junction take Interstate 10 east to exit Highway 83 south, 29 miles. Daily tours-reservations required. (210) 640-3222, 35 miles.

Guided cave tours, 1.5 miles underground. From Junction take Interstate 10 west to 8 miles west of Sonora, exit FM 1989 7 miles. 75 miles.

Western movie set. From Junction take Highway 377 south to Rocksprings to FM 674 seven miles north of Bracketville. 100 miles.

From Junction take Interstate 10 east to Highway 41 to Mountain Home to Ingram and Highway 39 to Hunt. Take FM 1340 - Camp Scenic, Kerr Wildlife Management area. 60 miles.
