Before that, Jerry operated a hotel, campground and mobile home community in Texarkana and Corpus Christi, Texas since 1973. "We saw the chance to convert our campground to the KOA system in 2000 as a great business opportunity," said Jerry. "It gets our up-to-date campsites the attention their deserve."
