South Padre Island KOAMeet Your Hosts Over the past 10 years, Tom and Stacie Brooks have been enjoying a wonderful ride with KOA and all it has to offer. These high school sweethearts from the north Georgia mountains have managed KOA Kampgrounds from the Pacific to the Atlantic, from New England to the Florida Keys, with a few stops in between. They are excited to be a part of introducing this unique campground as a KOA, and hosting you as camping guests! "We entertained on cruise ships for 9 years after college and we loved the moving around then and we still enjoy it now", says Tom. How they treated people on cruise ships is similar to how they treat their campers. "We remember that first and foremost the camper is there to have fun," says Tom, "and we do whatever we can to erase their worries and provide relaxation and enjoyment." The campground has many great amenities, but Tom and Stacie especially like the spectacular waterfront sites, the convenient access to South Padre Island, and the fantastic on-site condos. The park is located near some of the best beaches in Texas! Dolphin watch cruises, horseback riding on the beach, pier fishing, deep sea fishing, kite flying, delicious seafood and Mexican restaurants...South Padre Island has it all! Come visit Tom and Stacie in summer and enjoy the Schlitterbahn Water Park located right across the street from our KOA. South Padre Island KOA also has four beautiful condos with fantastic views overlooking the shipping channel, swimming pool, and downtown South Padre. When not putting their time and energy into the campground, they love to travel and have visited over 40 countries. Tom also likes to play the guitar and harmonica, while Stacie is a ventriloquist and a TIVO master. Come meet Tom and Stacie Brooks. |
