Meet Your Hosts

Brenda and Jerry Leath believe owning a KOA is the right fit for them. The Ellensburg KOA campground was owned by their in-laws, and as a plan to keep the campground family owned, the couple made the decision to purchase. Jerry managed a bar and was skilled in plumbing, while Brenda was a school teacher in a classroom. They also managed the KOA for Jerry's parents.

Brenda commented on the beautiful scenery, and how campers enjoy the mountainous region located on the Yakima River. "It is a beautiful place," Brenda said.

The Leaths try to keep their customers comfortable and do everything they can to keep people coming back. Brenda said they fill propane tanks, deliver wood, and provide fishing shuttles. "We try our best to make everyone happy," added Brenda."

In their free time, the couple enjoys bowling, fishing, and riding their Harley motorcycle.
