Check the Marblemount ranger station for River rafting: 360-873-4590. There are many lakes and rivers for fishing and boating. Baker Lake, Shanon Lake, a few other lakes and trails are within 15 miles of the campground. Horseback RidingCall Langs Horse and Pony Farm to get the whole family a guided trail ride: 360-424-7630. Let them know you saw them on the Concrete KOA web site. Go Cart and Family Fun CenterLocated 40 minutes from the campground. GolfingThere are several golf courses in the area. Come and stay a few days to try some of them. MuseumsVisit a variety of different kinds of museums, from Concrete all the way to Anacortes. Choices include quilt, historical, and heritage museums. Diablo LakeTake a trip down the Diablo lake to the dam. See the beauty of the mountains as you travel along. Call Seattle light for reservations at 206-684-3030. Sockeye ExpressTake a ride on the Sockeye Express and listen to the history of Concrete and how it got it's name. It's very enjoyable! Whale WatchingTake a trip through the San Juan Islands from Anacortes. Catch a whale watching trip out of La Conner or Anacortes. EaglesCome and watch the magnificent Eagles as they soar in the sky, catch fish, or just rest along the rivers banks of the North Cascade Highway or Highway 20. It's a wonderful experience! Join in the Eagle Festival in Concrete and visit with other Eagle watchers. This event happens in the first weekend of February. Stay in the Concrete KOA and be centrally located to everything! |
