Find your campsite nestled along the Big Wind River, in a beautiful valley between the Wind River and Absaroka mountain ranges. You and your family will be in the heart of Dubois, a rustic western cowboy town just 90 minutes east of both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It’s mountain camping at its best, with all of the shopping, services and conveniences of town.
The Dubois area offers some of the best access to wilderness and recreational areas in the West; it is quickly becoming a favorite mountain destination. With an elevation of 6,917 feet above sea level and just 30 miles east of the Continental Divide, Dubois is a great base camp for a true Rocky Mountain experience. One night won’t be enough to enjoy all of the scenic driving tours, weekly scheduled natural, historical and cultural events, rodeos, square dances and entertainment in the area that is famous for its western hospitality.
You can spend a relaxing day trout fishing on the Big Wind River right out your front door. Full service hook ups, including municipal water and sewer, electrical and cable sites are available. Amenities also include Kamping Kabins, playground, indoor heated pool, game room and a newly remodeled laundry and store and restrooms. The campground hosts the Circle Up Chuck Wagon Dinner Shows Mondays and Thursdays, June 18th through August 23. We also offer equestrian sites for camping with your horses. So come on and “Cowboy Up” in Dubois.
