We enjoyed ourselves and kids loved fishing. Only negative is the bike rentals it is far to expensive for a half hours slot and to not be allowed to go around the whole campsite. I feel if you made your pedal bike rentals more reasonable, they would get used and not sit all weekend.

We liked this park very much...although the site we were assigned had standing water right at the picnic table the entire time we were there. It was not from rain but we figured an underground leak. Would look for a better site than the one we had but that being the only issue I WILL BE BACK!!!

Nice campground with all the amenities. Great access to Black Mountain and Asheville. The lake and river running through the property are so nice. We’ll be back in our little camper van.

Check in was a breeze and Jill was the best. Campsite was very clean and near the dog park which was convenient. This was our third time staying at this location and I’m sure we will be back. Oh, and the cafe was a good addition.

We are KOA work campers. We decided 3 years ago to do this after staying here. We've stayed here a few times since. Always a friendly and helpful staff and the park is beautiful! Keep it up Swannanoa KOA!!!

I took showers at the bath house and ran out of hot water after less than three minutes. This happened every day we were there. (3 days).

Quiet, clean, picturesque park, big rig convenient and close to Asheville, Black Mt and the Harley dealership if you’re renting/riding your own. Staff were very friendly and helpful with an equipped camp store for essentials. Swannanoa is minutes away for other stuff and DT Asheville about 20 mins. We stayed in cabin 11 this time. Positives? It's more secluded from others. Negatives? The bathhouse is not as nice as the one where we stayed at previously (cabin 7). The plugins for electricity were limited. It took us a while to figure out how to plug in the air conditioner. If you have the air plugged in, you can't have TV. The kids activities and coffee from a local food truck were nice!

Potential…a diamond in the rough. This could be an awesome campground but sites need lots of attention, some are very long and narrow, need to be graded and cleaned up, hook-ups need to be fixed, and the geese are everywhere and leave their poop on the roads, sites, trail, etc. Staff drive around at top speed in their carts. Store items are very over priced. Scenery is fantastic and inviting

The laundry facilities were shameful. Lost some money in one of the 2 dryers that supposedly weren't out of order. It didn't heat up. The unisex bathroom needed a new flush mechanism in the toilet. You could not flush the toilet 2 times in a row without an extensive wait in-between. Sites were very close. On the flip side, staff was very friendly and helpful. Hands down this is one of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds we've visited. The grounds are well kept, well landscaped even. Very shaded and quiet. Lots of things on site for children to enjoy. We had a full hookup site by the river.

Loved the proximity to the highway. The arrival process was great with an escort to our site. Very dog friendly with great walks around the lakes and river. WiFi was strong. Park was immaculate from showers to the park itself. Office staff was very friendly and helpful Keep up the great work

Loved it!!! We stayed just 2 nights to visit the Biltmore (which was amazing)! The park was adorable and clean and offered many amenities for the whole family. We walked our pup around the lake and loved the river running through the campground. We shall return! �ϸ

We stayed there for a week. We were in the area on business and didn't most of their amenities. Our only complaint was that there were very few pull-thru sites but the back-in sites were okay. some were harder to access due to mature trees. The biggest positive was a very robust wi-Fi system. We had no trouble getting and staying on-line the whole time we were there.

This is a very nice campground and we have been camping there for years. A few years ago the campground was sold. The previous owners were super and their service was great. However, some things have changed. When I called to make our reservations I was charged $25.00 extra to reserve a particular site. I will say that I didn't like that. As we arrived on Thursday the store was closed at 5:00 PM

We stayed at a deluxe site and it had not been mowed. Checking in, the guy told us that we did not have reservations, after I showed him the registration, he called his boss and they found it.

Pretty campground on the lake but if you stay on the lake, the geese wander in the campsites constantly and there is poop absolutely everywhere. Had to constantly watch where we walked. Also 2 of the 4 dryers broken. For $100 a night we should not have to go to a local laundromat. They had a food truck here on the weekend. The breakfast burrito was amazing.
