Yoy need to change your computer system so when there are open spaces and people are randomly assigned spaced they are as far apart from one another as possible. My neighbors were up until 4 am and i could have been several hundred feet away and would never have heard tbem

Primitive campsite and great as always. Really appreciate the clean bathhouses, plenty of hot water, and it’s a great location! Stayed many times and will be back.

As a tent camper, I appreciate campgrounds that provide a good separation from the motorized campers. I was in one of the T sites, which is up on a hill. Plenty of trees and good sized site. Bathhouse was a nice distance away. Campground employees were very friendly and helpful. And the vicinity to the river is magical.

Unless you have one of a couple select cabins you will literally be feet from your neighbor. Sites are so close to one another. Other than bathrooms there have been updates in ages. It also seemed there was quite a bit of day use (non-campers) happening. We ended up not even staying due the proximity of our neighbor who was smoking non stop, burning trash and playing loud music.

Rest rooms cleanest we’ve ever seen! Staff very friendly. Trash cans available everywhere. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our site was pretty open and all sites seemed very close together. Would be nice for a little more privacy or a little more site space between neighbors but we dealt with it. The tent sites are spacious which was a big plus and there is lots to do. The only thing I would change is, give out a calendar of events for your stay at check-in. We missed out on so much simply because we didn't know. As the park is so spread out a map on the reservation site would be great. We probably would have paid more for lake side.

Loved the campground . Loved the fun activities . Little disappointed in asking for 2 connecting sites only to be separated. Little disappointed in asking if we could have a large tent and a small tent and they said no only to get there and all sites had multiple tents in use. Other than that we were very pleased beautiful property.

This is the 3rd KOA we’ve stayed at in the area. Asheville East is okay but we’d probably stay at one of the others before we came back to this one. The tent sites are at the very back of the park far away from any amenities and the walk to get to anything is crazy. There is a bath house close to the tent sites but on the women side only 1 of the 3 bathroom stalls locked.

First time here. Great time! Staff was nice. The shop was stocked. The arcade and outdoor games were nice. The lake is beautiful. The tent site was really close to bathhouse. Would definitely come again!

Stayed mainly to get some rest for the night but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We'd like to go back and experience more that the campground has to offer

I loved staying at the Asheville East KOA. The park is beautiful and the people made my stay fantastic. Everyone, from the ladies in the office to all of the staff in the park were sooo helpful to me. I had some physical tasks to overcome and the staff all happily came to my aid. Additionally, I would also like to recognize all the happy campers I met and visited with. Many were return Campers.

My and my friends had a great time on the camp grounds! We stayed in a tent and we heard a bear walking outside of our tent. The gift shop was nice, and we would recommend to future campers.

Ashville East KOA exceeded all of my expectations. I checked in after hours and Ted came to greet me, escort me to my pad, and provided me with firewood. The clerks at service counter the next morning were exceptionally kind and helpful. The bathrooms were kept impeccably clean (and heated) and the same could be said for the rest of the property - kempt and well-loved. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay in a deluxe tent site. The grounds were well kept, friendly staff, updated bath house, and our kids loved the planned activities. Will definitely come back!

We had a lot of fun at the Asheville East KOA. There were several things for our family to do. It was quite windy while we were there, which is no real fault of the KOA, but it definitely made the stay difficult in some aspects. The pricing on goods sold by the KOA was higher than market price, which I suppose is to be expected, but not necessarily appreciated.

My stay at koa east in swannnanoa nc was an amazing time the staff was very kind and welcoming and very friendly and awesome the atmosphere there was welcoming I will definitely be back there for more camping in the comen months the camp site was very nice and close to the showers and restrooms the campground in whole was clean and well taken care of I highly recommend this koa camp ground.

My stay was a very nice. I love being out in the nature and sleeping outside and this place has all that. Brings me back sweet childhood memories of sleeping outside, watching the stars twinkling in the sky.

My stay was great, the only reason I wouldn't always recommend it to others is because of the proximity of the RV sites to each other. For tent camping it was fantastic, especially the last-minute availability and the late check-in.

We had an amazing time while the fall colors were beautiful. This KOA is very family friendly with a lot of activities planned for kids. The staff leading the activities were enthusiastic and fun. They even closed down car traffic on the entire campground for the safety of kids during some activities. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. All facilities were clean.

We enjoy staying at this KOA. For us it is in a convenient location in the Asheville for things we like to do. The bathhouse are nice. They seem to keep them up to date and clean. The staff has always been friendly to us. I've enjoyed being right on the small ponds and have enjoyed fishing in them. There are two ponds with fish. The loop around both ponds is approximately one mile. There is plenty of open space to walk dogs as well. Holiday weekends this KOA fills up. Lots of children. Expect to be patient when driving in and out of the campground most camp goers walk the camp ground roads. Most of the sites are back in only. Which is not a problem for our short trailer. The only negatives I have for this KOA is the dump station. It is hard to get to unless you have a short trailer and a vehicle with a good turning radius or you have to back into or out of the dump station. Some of the sites seem to hold water when it rains, but all the sites we've stayed in have been flat. We have not rented any of the bikes, pedal carts, golf carts or anything like that.
