Once we arrived and checked in, there was no escort our campsite. We had asked when we made a reservation several months ago to be located far away from any type of road noise because my spouse is a very light sleeper not only where we put almost next to the road they offered us earplugs cut down the road noise how insulting, there is notices about use of water Never again.

5 nights to stay and see Asheville and the Biltmore Mansion. There’s really not much noise the way all these reviews say. We’re here to sleep and relax and visit the sites all day. The campground was perfect for all that. Thanks

We rented a rustic kabin for a few days. It was perfect for our short stay. It was so nice to have to the use of the outdoor kitchen and grill. We enjoyed the swings around the community fire ring too. Kabins are close to the restrooms too. Entire campground is very clean. There is some road noise since it's right next to Rt. 40 but it did not bother us from having a great time.

Staff was great. Site was terrible. The worse site we have ever stayed in. Septic was right next to our site and the smell was bad but the day before we left it was atrocious. I talked to staff, they sent someone out but believed it was from the neighbor. It was not, they had just pulled in the night before and we had been there 5 days.

Nice campground with great WIFI and cable TV. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the water pressure wasn’t very good.

Great Gary he assured us securing our door until we can get to the dealer, where by Gary direction was the correct remedy. Also all of the grounds keepers, store employees welcome us as we were family.

40 foot Motorhome. The spaces are very tight. Good WiFi, The road noise from I-40 is very loud although the KOA did offer ear plugs and white noise generators for smart phones. The staff was very friendly. I personally would not stay here again because of the tightness of the sites.

Needed an overnight stay with a pull through long enough for our 45’ motorhome and toad. After not finding any closer to Asheville we got one at Asheville West KOA. Glad it was just overnight and we didn’t spend anytime outside because the highway noise is the loudest of any park we have stayed at in our 40 years of RVing. The people in the office were lovely, however.

This campground would be good for just an overnight stop during your travels as it's close to a major highway. However, that is the reason for our low score. It's just too noisy for a relaxing stay. The owners and staff are terrific!

We needed a spot for the night and was a late arrival. I called ahead and was given instructions for late arrival procedures. Quick and easy and site was good. Didn’t disconnect 5th wheel. Check in with super nice office staff prior to departure. Nice camp store with lots of items. Thank you Asheville West KOA!

This was the worst KOA we ever stayed at, the restrooms were small, the roads in the KOA were terrible, sites were clay gravel not level. While we there they were grading the road with rocks and the dust was terrible. Pool was closed. The only word I can use to describe this KOA is it is a dump.

Arrived late due to mechanical breakdown. Our site was secured with a phone call. We were able to get set up with relative ease. The campground is lovely having a spacious grassy area to run our dogs. Plenty to do with children. The cabins are nicely set about a common cooking area.

Staff is great! They are constantly busy taking care of the grounds , very neat and clean. The owner needs to invest in some stone for the sites and trim the trees . It’s already a small park and the trees hanging in sites touch the RV’s. The problem here is rte 40. We have stayed in many parks and honestly this is the loudest. It’s a great spot to explore the area but be prepared for the

Site was large enough for us. Being underneath a cell phone tower is like the cone of silence. WiFi was not much better so don't plan on talking or emailing while there. Our site backed up to the truckstop which was a bit if a surprise to us. Constant truck noise but others were adjacent to the expressway. They do give you ear plugs . Location was easy to find and convenient.

Beautiful park, very nice and super clean restrooms and showers. Nice pool and picnic/ game Pavillion. Very nice camp kitchen and community fire pit. Only negative is loud interstate noise.

Great campground, with excellent customer service and maintenance staff! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Loved the gardens and the Veteran tribute tree & nifty art along the hiking/dog walking paths! Beautiful area and just off the highway. A little tricky turning right onto the road from the campground, but if you are careful, you'll be fine! Worth staying at. We will again!

I've been to many KOA locations and this one ranks up there with the best of them! Wonderful staff(especially Julia who was informative and gracious and pretty as a peach), I was warned that it might be noisy based on the proximity to I-40 but the trees blocked out the noise well! Great restroom facility(cleanliness and location), easy-on and easy-off the highway.
