My family and I enjoyed staying in a deluxe cabin. It was the perfect size, stocked with all the kitchen supplies needed, blankets and towels. We enjoyed the spa and heated pool, playground, game room, and the movie nights. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We are already planning our next trip!

Always a great place to stay. Staff is awesome. Enjoy the pancake breakfast and movie night. First time in the cabin loft and it was perfect for a family.

Our stay was very relaxing and we enjoyed the things you can do around camp. We even rented the BBQ one night n made Hamburgers. Plus my granddaughter loves the cookies!! We found all the employees very friendly and helpful. We will be back!!�ϋ� Thank you!!!!

Only thing I don’t like are the beds, they are to tall!!’ We had to go buy a step stool so I could get in bed!! Don’t know if I got my $100 deposit back on Cabin K, I didn’t get an email back. Amazing service from both the office and service teams and loved the location, which is close to so much, but still private and quiet. Had a relaxing trip! Highly recommend.

Cabins were adequate, E had limited seating for a premium site and 30 bucks a night for the Fire Pit was a little Nickel and Dimey. Campground has great amenities and is super clean. Staff is friendly.

I would like to see alittle cleaner cabins seems like I clean more when checking out. They could do a better job with the spider webs inside the cabin. Lisa at the front desk is fantastic!

Nice, clean campground with lots of activities. But, our queen bed was unacceptable. It was obviously old and sunk in the middle. I had to sleep in the bunk bed to be able to sleep, and not with my partner. How can I recommend it to others? We also noticed many kids on bikes without helmets. That should be enforceable. Paying $185 a night to sleep in bunk bed was not our exepctation. C 8

The rates are reasonable, the staff is amazingly friendly & helpful, the campsite is clean & has nice amenities. Kitchen items, linens & decor were great! However, the small cabin didnt appear to be in its best shape, maybe because it was a pet friendly space? The floors didnt look mopped. The baseboards appeared rotted. The bathroom sink didnt drain well & the toilet flush was questionable.

We love your KOA, and have been for several years and will plan to come back likely next year as well. But we did find the floor in our cabin to not be very clean upon arrival. Thankfully, the staff did mop it upon request, but it was not very clean when we first checked in, unfortunately. Overall, though, it was a great stay!

We look forward to this trip every year. Clean, accommodating and centrally located to many other places to see. Only thing to critique is that we didn’t get all channels on TV as noted in program guide. Not a big deal.

I love Avila/Pismo more than any where in SLO.New management is Great!One concern though? If park staff could be more consistent about the unruly guests in the pool . Possibly enforce the No Children in the Jacuzzi Rule.I understand that it hard for staff to deal with unruly guests.Other then that,All staff members were very friendly to me.

The KOA in Avila is so nice. I recommend it to anybody. We enjoyed our stay. They made us feel at home and anything we needed. They said not to hesitate to ask they were all real friendly we appreciate the hospitality. Thank you

All was great. We loved our trip. The only thing that could improve was that the carpet in the ADA cabin needed cleaning. I imagine that happens often considering the wheelchairs go on the asphalt and into the unit over and over.

Horrible mattress. Terrible night sleep. Filthy floor. No sink in bathroom; used kitchen sink. Paid $185 a night for this. No area outside of cabin to sit. Right by freeway. Noisy. Room was a sauna in the afternoon with west sun. Old blinds didn't provide good privacy. Site looked like an RV storage site. Community areas nice though. Staff was nice. Close to beach, barn, hiking trails.

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!

This is a good Koa RV Park. Location is good, it's quiet, the staff is friendly, and both Avila and Pismo Beach are nearby. A bit pricey. Why are people complaining about the freeway noise? We're in spot 81 backed up to Highway 101, and it's not noisy at all. This place is well run and a great place to stay.

We stay here once a year during Christmas time with family and extended family. The cabins are tiny little perfect getaways nothing special, but have all the amenities that you need. The area around has plenty room for kids to play, they have jungle gyms, and walking path for dogs. there is also the Bob Jones trail that you can walk or ride your bike or whatever you feel like all the way down into Avila. We will keep coming back here every year for Christmas.
