Had the best campsite #234 and it was perfect all around. My husband was able to fish right from our campsite and he caught a bunch. This was our first time at this KOA and it exceeded our expectations. It was very quiet but sure it will be booming with activity during the peak time. Lots of kids activities too. Loved the train for kids to ride through the campground. We give it an A+

Great stay here in the camping cabin in Cherokee. Very friendly and helpful staff. And a great location for day trips into the Great Smoky National park.

Ugh. I hate to leave something negative because I have started a tradition of coming here after my tax season… The bees were horrible, just too much. I saw the natural catchers but they were not working on our unit. I wish they would have put us in the middle at least where they were flocking around. There was over 50 at mid day,everyday. I go to relax and listen to the water, not for activiti

The washing machine didn't spin dry, we spend extra two hours to dry the wet stuff. Otherwise it's pretty good. We enjoy our stay.

Everyone was very kind and nice to us. Helpful and courteous a lot of functions for children. Even though we don't have any definitely. We'll stay again in fact, already booked for September.

The only reason I'll not give 5 is because of the experience I had with the people camping next to me. The baby was crying until 1am, they wouldn't make the toddler stop barking, their language was offensive. Especially as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I was excited that Google said it was a friendly place. I left early because I no longer felt safe with them there. The KOA itself was amazing!

The campground was beautiful and had many activities. The staff was very friendly. We had some noisy neighbors the first night but no fault to the campground. However this is the only KOA that didn’t escort us to ours it. It was no problem and the map was very clear. We hope to stay there again in the future.

It's a wonderful campground with great amenities! The staff in general is thorough and efficient. The front desk could be a little more personable and friendly, though.

We had a great stay at the Cherokee KOA! The staff was great and very helpful! The cabin was clean and ready for us to use! Only problem was the cabin needed a little maintenance and curtains for more privacy. We’ll be back in September ��

Love this campground. It is our first trip of every season! Everyone is super nice and the staff is #1 in service! Our daughter and son in law camp with us and the buddy sites are so roomy! Close to some quaint towns and of course Cherokee itself is laid back and dog friendly. Make this a campground to visit!

Campground was very nice and clean. A very quiet place to stay. We booked the stay in February for the end of March. We had driven 2hrs. 30 minutes to see the campground before booking to see which sites we preferred. All of the sites we wanted showed unavailable and I ended up call the campground direct to book. Those sites remained empty during our entire stay. Very disappointing with that!

A wonderful stay in the luxury cabin near the river. Enough room for the whole family (4 adults). The presence of a Weberbarbecue was a nice surprise. Only one disappointment: the kitchen crockery is minimal, even when you want to cook a simple one-pot meal.

The Cherokee KOA was remote, clean and quiet with the amazing Mingo Falls very close by. My only constructive criticism is that the office/store hours are only 10-6p so, if you are out for the day (since there’s alot to do in the area), it’s very difficult to visit the store either before or after you leave. Other KOAs either open at 8am or close later. Kind regards.

A very peacefully beautiful park- really enjoyed Trout ponds. Love the new dog fence spots- will have to get one of those next time!! Thank you for a great weekend.

The only reason I rated a 4 and not a 5 is because of the late 4pm check in. That does NOT allow us to take full advantage of the amenities. Also the KOA store closes at 5pm. Otherwise the employees were very hospitable and the restrooms were clean.

The Deluxe tent site was excellent. I was very impressed with the sand tent pad. The best part of the stay was the friendly and helpful staff.

Had a great stay this past weekend. Everything was in great shape and the staff was very helpful. Lots of things to do for the kids. Love staying at this KOA.

We loved it. Our cabin was 251 and the view was absolutely amazing. The kids loved fishing, swimming, and playing in the water with their waders. I look forward to coming back and staying many more times.

The whole staff was great, even with having to cut the water to the whole campground for a few hours they kept everyone up to date. Making it no big deal.

The campground was nice and staff was friendly but the first night a group of 3 young adults came in around 10:30 at night next to us. They kept me up most the night being loud. They left next morning. They must have came in to get a free night and hot shower. Then next night there was a crazy guy showed up at one campsite and built a fire, played loud music and danced. He apparently was intox

Very unhappy that we were not informed at check in that there was no water in the campground. The nice escort showed us where the hook ups were but also failed to let us know the water wasn't working. We tried to call the office-voice mail. Walked around and chatted with other campers who let us know the water was out for hours. It did come back on after a few hours....

We had an amazing time! We met family down there and decided to try out the cabins. We loved every second! The cabin was, truthfully, way nicer than we expected it to be and our dog absolutely loved the trip as well! We will most definitely be back!

We've gone to Cherokee the same week for the past 4 years. This is our 5th year going. Nothing but great things to say. Love the campground. Great communication, friendly staff, picturesque views. Great location with lots to do without even leaving the campground. Met other families that travel the same time making each year a reunion of sorts.
