Due to the weather issues we had a bad wind storm that knocked down two large branches. Maintenance came to the tent area, didn’t actually go to bridge where the branch was on top of. He said it looked alright, then left. Knowing we were to get more weather, I didnt feel safe around the possibility of a branch falling and no caring. I will say the staff in the office were kind and caring.

Campground is nice and facilities clean. We had a nice tent spot. Area surprisingly quiet for being in the city. Only complaint is I had to checkout a day early and was gone by checkout time. They would not refund the amount for the day I did not stay. The girl at the desk said “they” won’t let us do a refund. REALLY?!? So in reality I paid KOA for nothing. That’s why a 3 star rating.

It is a nice place. The tent spot was ok. The grill was dirty and the restrooms needs more attention from the owner. Also the sink on the tent site needs attention.

Employees at this KOA are very friendly and helpful. While the KOA is located in a "city" environment, you will be very surprised and happy with the atmosphere once you drive through the gates. You feel like you are camping in the country while right in the middle of city.

Unfortunately due to the heat I did not end up actually staying for the night. I could not even wrap my head around sleeping in a tent in 110 degree weather. The campground was amazing though and if the weather had been cooler I would have had a lovely stay!

It has been unreal hot all over this year. We have seen tent campers with these small AC units that are super tiny. About a foot square and supposedly work great in tents. Pretty neat! If you can return in the fall it is beautiful then!

I stayed at this KOA twice, once going to my destination and the then on the return. This property is well within numerous restaurants and other shopping opportunities. If you are in a tent, the sites are nice; a sandy surface that can be easily smoothed out. I feel you may be better-off with long stakes, as heavy winds and heavy rains can roll into the area at any time.

Our stay was great! It was very hot in the 100’s I rented a tent site and a small cabin. It was too hot for the tent so we spent most of our time in the cabin. The pool was great! Very clean. All the staff were very friendly. My granddaughter’s had a good time. We will be back.!

As a solo female traveler, I am always scared about what I may encounter sleeping in a tent. There were lots of lights near the tent area, but it helped keep me at ease. This campground was nice and clean and best of all I felt safe. It is in a major city so the noise can’t be helped. Overall great stay.

My paperwork wasn't ready when we got there after hours, but the gentleman who answered the phone even came out to check on us. Blue lights blinking at the tent site campground kept me awake. The campground was really nice, except for that light, and the creek was filled with garbage (BAD CAMPERS!). otherwise, it was beautiful and peaceful, and we liked it very much.

Tent sites are clean and organized just wish they were spaced out. Otherwise the grounds are fairly clean. Bathrooms and showers are great �

My site was completely level. Just lowered my bigfoot system down to stabilize and I was done. Another pro was location. Everything you could need or want is close by and easy to get to. Even with a 5 star rating I do have a couple of cons. Sites are gravel, cement pads would be nice. A very narrow entrance, I have a 30 ft motorhome so I had no trouble. If I were towing a 30 ft camper the narrow entrance would be challenging with heavier traffic. Staff was friendly and I would definitely stay there again.

We just stayed for 2 nights here and I just wanted to say thank you for this little getaway spot! The pool was closed until memorial weekend which was sad but it was still nice to walk around and play in their playgrounds with my son. The bathroom were clean during our stay and stuff was attentive to trash. I was thinking people would have music playing and be little louder but it was super quiet, not the camping I'm use to but still enjoyed it! So glad there was AC in our cabin and bathrooms were nearby! Will definitely be back, the location is near alot of restaurant and stores in case you don't want to grill or forgot something.
