Gem Mining

Purchase a bag of mining rough, and make your way to the water sluice. A water sluice is a trough of running water where bags of mining "rough" are emptied and sifted through screen trays. The water washes away the dirt, revealing sparkling gems and minerals. Its like panning for gold! You will discover garnets, rose quartz, fool's gold, emeralds, aquamarines and many other beautiful stones and use the identification charts to accurately identify exactly what you have found. And all the treasures you find are yours to take home!

GAGA PIT

Gather your camping friends and family and come on down to the Delaware Water Gap~Pocono Mountain KOA's GaGa Pit for some fast paced fun!! Ga-ga is a variant of dodgeball that is played with one ball. The game combines dodging, striking, running, and jumping, with the object of being the last person standing. Players hit the ball at each other, and are eliminated if the ball strikes them below the knees. The game can be played by a group of individual players or with teams, as well as in one-on-one matches.
