This is probably one of the best KOA's in the USA! Always activities for the family, nice grass space between lots, clean, friendly staff. We have stayed here 5-6 times and look forward to the next time.

A great place to stay, the owner and his team are very welcoming and friendly. The campground is beautifully maintained and very clean, lots of things for kids to do. Overall one of the best if not the best campground around. Thanks!

The absolute best KOA we've ever stayed at! Staff was great, RV site was outstanding, the bathrooms clean, and the grounds were gorgeous! We will return on a future trip and look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful family campground. We brought our granddaughter for a long weekend. Many planned activities for families to do together. The “hey” ride and ice cream afterwards were the highlight. The bathrooms, pool area, common areas are kept clean. The campsites are well maintained with beautiful vegetation throughout. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. We will be back!

Very nice campground. Great store the pool was nice. The bubble jump was fun. Friendly staff. Clean campsites. A nice family campground at night it was almost to quiet. I would definitely camp there again.

I had camped at this campground 5 years ago. It was nice then, and even better now. Lots of amenities for the entire family, very friendly ownership, very clean campground, showers, bathrooms and general areas. Very well maintained. General store has ample amount of items for purchase to make the stay more enjoyable and relaxed. This was a very good choice. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Lena, and we've really enjoyed both! The campground and all of the facilities are clean and well maintained, the camp store is well stocked, and the staff is super friendly. Both times we've been meeting friends/family, and the staff was able to accommodate neighboring sites with a smile.

This was our first stay at a KOA campground. Our visit was a pleasant stay, grounds were very well kept and offered nice choices of activities. Showers were very nice and clean as well. The park itself is pretty small and is very close to the main road. But all in all it was enjoyable.

Owner is very approachable and enjoyed talking about what he has done and is planning to do in the upcoming future. Plenty of activities for the little ones. Stayed for 3 nights and would've enjoyed more.

We love staying at the Lena KOA! The Long family and everyone that works at the campground are some of the friendliest people you could hope to meet. The campground and facilities are clean and well maintained. It's a very kid/family/pet friendly campground but still a lot of fun for the adults.

Amazing campground. Very clean and well kept. The people are what makes it though. We are always treated like family. The owners and staff are the kindest people. This is one we will return to as often as we can.

Great Staff, Well tended grounds, spacious sites, ample Camp Store, Lots for kids to do. Only 7 miles from a little known National Register of Historic Places site, 1832 Battle of Kellogg's Grove, one of two battle sites in the state of Illinois. Abraham Lincoln's relief militia company helped bury the dead at this site.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. The grounds were immaculate. The washroom/shower facilities were large and clean. It will be a definite return for us if in the area again.

Had a wonderful time at this well maintained & BEAUTIFUL campground! Family friendly with so many amenities for the kids &, though we had no children with us, we enjoyed watching the weekend activities from our camper! The owner was out & about all the time, greeting campers, entertaining the kids, & he appeared to be enjoying it as much as them. We will be back with our grandkids…can’t wait!

The whole family owners were very friendly & informative about events. The park was exceptionally clean & well kept. The flowers � all around & landscaping was beautiful. Lots of activities for the young ones (even though we have no young children, it’s nice to see the children having so much fun!)

My husband and I stayed at an RV spot while my son, wife and two children stayed at a cabin. We had a great time there. the children's facilities has enough equipment to entertain the kids. We like to go to galena and enjoyed a a day trip there. Facilities are clean. We enjoyed the ice cream social and Sunday breakfast.

We love staying at the Lena KOA Campground. It's very clean, quiet and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We look forward to planning another trip there soon.

We stayed at LENA KOA for the first time Mother's Day weekend and we all really enjoyed it. Our site was right next to the playground so it was perfect for us to sit at our site and watch our kids play and sit around the fire with our friends. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. We will definitely go back!

All of the facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are nicely landscaped and well maintained. This is a top notch campground. We do volunteer work nearby each year and always stay at the Lena KOA.

2024 Just wanted to say thank you to Joe and his team for another outstanding stay. One of the best campsites we ever stayed at! Looking forward to the next time.____ 2023 After 5 years of RVing doing about 5 trips a year I have to say this is the best maintained camp site I've been to. Campground and all facilities are very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool area and playground. Tent sites. Barrel Train. Activities for kids. Well stocked camp store. Pet friendly. Galena is about 40 minutes away. Other local attractions. If you get the chance check this place out you won't be disappointed.

Go North in the summer and South in the winter, Lena KOA Holiday has been our "North" destination for a few years now. Always clean, always things to do for the kids, good grass space between rv spots. You will not be disappointed!
