Our site was right on the road near the office with no trees. Decent site but would have much preferred site with trees and a little more privacy.

Karen, Mike, Cindy, Ben and Jersey are the best! Great service and every effort is made to make your stay great. The new and gift shop are great. This is an excelllent place for a short stay or a couple of weeks. Grocery, restaurants, etc nearby. Highly recommend. Great Derby week location. Easy on and off I 65.

I believe that the shuttle to the Derby was not explained at all! We should have been told that the drop off point was not anywhere close to the park! Understandably it is huge crowd but walking that far as a 77 year old was way too much! Then expecting us to return to the bus in less than an hour after the main race was rediculous with the crowd exiting nearly all at once! Won’t happen again!

We came for the Derby, untorturable they hike their prices for Derby week which i do not like and feel it is a bit of price gouging but "when in Rome..." Nice pool and sites were nice and clean. Activity area is great as well.

We had a wonderful stay and everyone was so helpful! The grounds were very clean and everyone was so friendly. We had a bit of a mishap leaving the facility due to our error and the crew was there for us, willing to help us get back on the road! Could not of asked for a more helpful and accommodating team. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for all your help!

We always have a nice time at this KOA. It makes me sad how expensive it is now to stay here though. Makes me realize after this past weekend that we are going to have to think twice about staying here in the future because of the cost. We can stay at some of the other places we go locally for two weeks for what we paid here.

I've never stayed at a KOA. Your entire team there was the most pleasant and accommodating group of people I have ever encountered at a Camp Ground. Great example - I was making spaghetti for my entire group staying there only to find out I had forgotten the noodles at home. I went to the store, but you sold none. But, the lady working called her husband and GAVE me hers from camper. WOW!

Incredibly helpful, organized staff. Great communication in advance and during. Terrific location and well cared for campground. Couldn’t have been easier for us on what has to be their busiest weekend of the year - Derby weekend!

Everyone was so nice and so welcoming. Check in was so quick, smooth, and stress free! Staff always waves when we walked by or waved to us all. The site was very clean easy to navigate.

It was my first RV trip alone and my first time setting up the site by myself. My husband flew out the next day to meet me. The employees were very nice and accommodating and the gentleman who guided me to my site was very informative. The site was clean and easy to maneuver to. I had a cute patio/sitting site that I enjoyed sitting outside to read

Spaces are awfully close together where we were. Despite having a patio and chairs, it didn't feel much like a "deluxe" spot with neighbors practically an arm's length away. Nice access to hiking trails. We felt overcharged for the quality of the space we had.

It was a good campground. Well maintained. Only complaint was the $10 firewood for 4 pieces. They need to fix that.

Nice campground. Staff was very friendly. Conveniently located whether going downtown Louisville or visiting the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Close to good food and shopping.

We stopped for one night while traveling north. Nice long pull thru lots so we didn't have to drop our tow. Beautiful grounds and pool area. We would stay here again and highly recommend.

The campground is very nice and the staff members are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend putting a sign on the Laundry Room door identifying the room. Also I would suggest clearing the litter out of the lake. One more suggestion- It might be to your advantage to be aware of the full moon cycles so you can advertise to guests that the moonbow at Cumberland State as a valued attraction.

I booked the "best", highest cost site possible and initially got stuck in a backin location on the main drive-in road. There were many other identical sites but it seems I was not put there. In the end, the staff help me get to a better location which initially included me buying a second site next to our new site

We stayed during Derby weekend which was a very busy and full weekend. Our site was great and perfect for what we needed. The grounds were clean and everyone was so friendly. We had a bit of a mishap leaving the facility due to one of our storage compartments not being latched tightly and coming out hitting their fence as we were pulling out! Mortified to say the least! We were met with a great crew who took time to help us get back on the road! They were so kind and understanding and just genuine good people. Thank you so much everyone for all your help we can't thank you enough! We will definitely be back!
