The campground staff was friendly. It poured down with rain and the site flooded. Walking around the park, many sites were flooded.

Nice people, nice park. Showers were small, didn’t have enough hooks to hang towels, clothes on. We thought it was closer to historic sights….its really not. If you are going to the amusement park,,it’s fine. Otherwise, check your mileage to the places you want to see…hwy 95 is super busy,,,so you don’t get any where quickly..

We stop here every year on our way to and from Florida. Always a pleasure, from office staff to ease of parking, cleanliness and restrooms. I’m not easily pleased, and this KOA is always a pleasure. Highly recommend.

The place we stayed in was very nice. We only stayed one night and it was raining. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use any of the outdoor amenities that are provided. My only complaint is we had to purchase some items in the little store. The prices were outrageous. Everyone in the store and at the check-in counter were pleasant.

Stay was very good with the exception of a large group of tent campers who erected flags and posted signs that said private event and then proceeded to play drums and other percussion instruments for hours into the evening. A strong smell of marijuana permeated through the camp ground from the “event” attendees. They should not have been permitted to treat the campground like their private acr

The park was very clean and had plenty of amenities. The first site we received was basically unusable (281) but they were able to relocate us to 280 which was on the corner and very nice. Would love to go back when the pool is open.

We stayed for 2 nights and didn't make the reservation early enough to get a good spot. The hookups were on the wrong side of the rv so we had to run electrical cord underneath. Our spot was very close to the train tracks and the amusement park so kind of noisy. But the grounds were neat and clean and the bathroom/showers were also very clean. All in all, it was fine for 2 nights.

The only thing you could do to improve the stay of group campers is turn off the street light located in the group camping sites.

Oh my goodness. The cabin was beautiful. I love how everyone was out exploring and families were all outside around a bonfire or playing. Wish our stay was longer.. we will DEFINITELY be coming back.

Great campground, very easy access from 95, clean bathrooms and facilities. Wooded sites and plenty of room. Very hospitable staff. Found a small rubber flamingo on our Airstream doorstep. 100% safe. Truck stop next door had best price on diesel fuel!!! Love Kings Dominion KOA.

We had a very nice time at the cabin at the KOA next to Kings Dominion. It was clean, quiet, and close to the park. We have already planned our next stay there this summer.

Check-in staff were great. The lodge/store has anything you may need or forgot to bring. The campground is nestled in the trees and you’d barely know you were next to a theme park.

Me and my husband haven’t been camping in years and we had a blast ! We had very nice neighbors. This camp ground had very very clean bathrooms and showers with amazing water pressure ! I can’t wait for the pool to open.

Easy on and off from i95, we arrived after hours and didn't see any employees until late morning the following day. Could use some security at night. Showers were clean and the surroundings are lovely.

We stayed in a cabin. The camp was clean. We missed the camp store, but from what I saw, they have EVERYTHING! The cabin was beautiful and so nice, more than I expected. The theme in the campground was family and we saw everyone walking, playing, or enjoying a bonfire.. 10/10 will DEFINITELY stay again I didn't take pictures, I only made a video of our cabin and can't upload, sorry... But you should rent a cabin! 😁

We just spent the weekend here and overall had a nice experience. This review is based on our stay in the 30 amp back in sites at the front of the campground. PROS: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, trash pick up at site Nice woodsy feel in parts of the campground Pool and playground looked nice Fenced in dog area and "dog bath" at shower house Close proximity to I95 and Kings Dominion (with free shuttle) CONS: Some gravel RV sites very uneven, we were fortunate to have a decent site although hard to back in due to all the trees, narrow drive, other sites around us were not as good. Super bright lights are turned on at night toward front of campground which takes away from the "camping" feel. Lack of hot water in shower! Another unusual thing is that there was a huge event going on at the campground over the weekend with LOUD music blaring until 11 PM - I doubt this is a regular thing but would have been nice to know about ahead of time. In a nutshell - if you want a convenient place to stop overnight off 95 or want a family friendly place to stay to enjoy Kings Dominion, this is the place for you. I would stay here again if I was in the area for something specific.
